It kept me wanting to keep reading it.
Too hard to choose
He is one of my favorite narrators
Thsi is a good book that is not in todays world all that hard to beleive as far as plot is concerned. However, not in a world I care to live in. Excellent reading
Great read, another in the fabulous series & I can never get enough of Scott Bricks narrations.
How smart can a villain be? How devious can a killer get? How mysterious can a story become? Lots, Lots, & Lots. That is the answer to all three questions. This book was well thought out & gave Lucas Davenport a real run for his money. I thorougly enjoyed how the tale unwound in such a stunning style. A reader could not ask for more. Bravo!
My review is coming from a personal viewpoint. i really didn't like the story line of violently murdering elderly people. It wasn't clear for most of the book why this happened & I found that quite distracting. Lucas was of course in his usual good form but when the narrator kept moving back & forth using peoples first names, then last names again it got a little confusin who he was referring to. Other than that a good book worth the read.
This definately is not a book for the faint hearted but I was fascinated non the less with all the mystery that went on non-ending. To me this is a kind of book that has it all. And I was amazed how the writer never ran out of intrguing ideas & kept building the story line until i was ready to scream "I give up." i thoroughly enjoyed this book & intend to read the whole series. Way to go.
Two authors made this book a complete disaster. I wouldn’t even call it a book since the story line was missing throughoutl. Ridiculous unbelievable story lines running into each other ad nauseam. Too many characters adding nothing but confusion & people getting murdered to for no real reasons. Main character can’t stop self-.It is going back for sure.destructing over & over (tiring & boring ) book too long.. Narration was over the top loud & brash with a sprinkle of pure nasty. I can’t even figure out how this book ever got published. Even the little girl turned out to be a loud mouthy little brat. The villain? Oh don’t even ask! In my opinion this book could never be rewriten even with a gallon of strong glue. I kid you not. And if I could I would not have even given them a one star rating. It will be going back for sure.
I really enjoyed the memoir of Martin Short. His SNL performances gave my family many fun filled nights & it was interesting to know more about his real life. My 50 year old son goes around imitating him all the time. Thanks much Martin it was a good read
I really enjoyed this book. It certainly kept my interest throughour & was extremely hard to second guess. The narration was great too. If there was a book I really needed when sleep evaded me it was this one. Yes
This book was captivating all the way to the end. In fact it felt like 4 books in one. The subject matter was very interesting & the narrator (Dick Hill) was excellent as usual. All in all I enjoyed it very much & would recommend it to others. It was my kind of book.
Kept me fascinated from beginning to end. I really hate to see these kinds of books end. Narration great too. Highly recommend.
