In Tuesday's Gone, a London social worker makes a routine home visit only to discover her client, Michelle Doyce, serving afternoon tea to a naked, decomposing corpse. With no clues as to the dead man's identity, Chief Inspector Karlsson again calls upon Frieda for help. She discovers that the body belongs to Robert Poole, con man extraordinaire. But Frieda can't shake the feeling that the past isn't done with her yet. Did someone kill Poole to embroil her in the investigation? And if so, is Frieda herself the next victim?

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Someone who doesn't catch on to things quickly. Who can tolerate the obvious being ignored and

What do you think your next listen will be?

NOT ANOTHER NICCI FRENCH's FRIEDA KLEIN thats for sure (hope I am spelling name correctly as I was listening and not reading print)

What does Beth Chalmers bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Easy to tell who is 'talking'. fluctuates intonation, not monotone, good pace.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

anger that we were to believe that no one, especially Frieda, just now started to realize the Dean/Alan connection. AND EVEN MORE that karlsson asked Frieda to work with the police, to work her 'magic' and then turns around and doubts and ridicules every thing she suggests

    Any additional comments?

Just couldn't wait for it to be over.

Fegan has been a "hard man" - an IRA killer in Northern Ireland. Now that peace has come, he is being haunted day and night by 12 ghosts: a mother and infant, a schoolboy, a butcher, an RUC constable, and seven other of his innocent victims. In order to appease them, he's going to have to kill the men who gave him orders. As he's working his way down the list, he encounters a woman who may offer him redemption; she has borne a child to an RUC officer and is an outsider too.

WHY DON'T THE AUTHORS OR THE AUDIO PRODUCERS STAY MORE INVOLVED IN THE PRODUCTION SO THINGS LIKE PRONUNCIATIONS ARE CORRECT

In L.A., Cassie Black is another beautiful woman in a Porsche: except Cassie just did six years in prison and still has "outlaw juice" flowing in her veins. Now Cassie is returning to her old profession, taking down a money man in Vegas. But the perfect heist goes very wrong, and suddenly Cassie is on the run - with a near-psychotic Vegas "fixer" killing everyone who knew about the job.

What made the experience of listening to Void Moon the most enjoyable?

Slightly just slightly slow start BUT WOW then it hits the road running and packs a punch. And the bad guy, karch, omg you want to reach in and grab him by the throat. Not sure I have come across such a well written bad guy in a long time if ever. He is soooooo bad you are truly not certain if he will be defeated.

What did you like best about this story?

It really was a 'page turner' not sure what to call that when you are listening and not really turning pages. You really start to root for Cassie and with every page you are not sure if things will work out. She did 'wrong' things for right, heart wrenching, reasons

What does L. J. Ganser bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I think so, yes. Never listen to LJ previously but I would listen again

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    YES

    Any additional comments?

Would love a sequel but not sure how Connelly would pull it off. I guess its good to have a stand alone book every now and then!
