better distinction between the chapters or sections. I didn't know where one ended and the next began
I could get past the first 30 minutes
She was reading to fast. I couldn't tell where a paragraph ended and the next one began! Everything was strung together like a giant stream of conciousness.
I didn't read the print version. I rarely, if ever, listen to a book I've read in print.
I grew fond of the characters living in Fethering. I hope there are additional mysteries in this series to follow.
I could get past the first 15 minutes. I don't know who it would appeal to
It was okay and I am sure he could be great. The material was just something I couldn't get past.
I don't know. I couldn't listen to it long enough to make a judgement.
I haven't read any of the print versions of Louise Perry's mysteries. I love the narration of her books. Ralph Cosham is great. He really is the characters of Three Pines.
He is Three Pines! Usually my favorite character is Gamache but in this case my favorite character is Myrna.
I am not sure why I liked this book so much. It definitely was one of my favorites. It was a little more suspenseful than earlier books and I listened it in just two days...couldn't stop until I knew how it ended.
I haven't heard this narrator before. I liked her and would listen to other books she narrates but I can't say she was one of my favorites...yet.
Very entertaining without any upd and downs just good all the way through.
Very good narration.
Caroline Lee is an excellent narrator and Kate Morton does an great job of transporting the reader to the time and place. I really felt like I was there.
I love Kate Morton's stories. Each one is my favorite.
Revealing, charming, well-read
It is her story so hearing it in her voice means you move at her pace. If I read the written words I might put emphasis on parts that she did not and vice versa. It really was like sitting down and talking to an old friend.
I liked the fast pace and the descriptions of the New York that was.
Read all about it!
This started out very slow and I alost didn't finish listening to it. I decided to push through and it was worth it. It is one of the few mysteries that I didn't figure out half way through. The slow start may even have made it more exciting as I got more involved with the characters and the story. The narrator did a fabulous job and I am looking forward to another story from the same author and narrator. They are a great pairing.
