I would listen to it again if I were doing a re-read of the series.
The love scenes.
I wasn't planning on re-reading any of her books, but this was on sale at Audible and from the sample it sounded pretty good. Another example of an audiobook making me enjoy the book more. Dina Pearlman is the narrator of this book. When I read it initially I didn't know what all the hoopla was about this book. It was just okay to me. But the narration was so wonderful that I ended up really liking the book and have upped my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars. I just wish that Games of Command was an audiobook because I'm struggling through that one right now.
No, one time is enough.
John, one of the bad dads.
I don't think she fit. The book is dark and serious and her voice was chirpy happy.
I liked the book and the narrator was good but I don't think she really went with the mood and main character of the book. Really chirpy happy a lot of the times.
I'm doing an overhead High-5 because I guessed the second killer way early. In fact, I think that some of those gals that were killed were done by the same guy to try to speed things along.
Enjoyed the book, worth a read/listen to.
I don't think the audio edition is better than the print version but it's close.
When Aral asks Cordelia to marry him when they've never even kissed.
Wonderful, even the women's voices were great.
I reacted mostly to the romantic sections of the book which made me go, "Awww."
I'm doing a re-read by audiobook.
Love this series. I am crazy about how these two disparate people find enough in common to fall in love. My favorite book of the series. Grover Gardner does a fantastic job with the narration.
The most enjoyable experience of listening to Alone is that it is fast-paced.
Rogue from X-Men (and you'd understand that if you read the comics and the book) and Paranormalcy because of the way Sienna was raised.
I have no idea.
Sienna reminds me a lot of Rogue from the X-Men in some ways and Paranormalcy in others. Wolf is one of the worst (and by this I mean horribly good) characters I have ever read and I loved his Karma.
All that said, I'm feel too old for this book and don't think I'll continue with the series. Although I'm sure my 17 year old daughter would love it.
