Finally...an author who didn't feel it necessary to bash everyone else in the field. She actually referred to school counselors are valuable resources (my profession)!
Material is hard to read, but easy to listen to on a commute.
I commend the author for a positive, informational, to the point book.
Absolutely. I want to process the information.
Enjoyed the reality of following an admissions officier.
Yes, I wish the author would realize that school counselors could actually be vaulable resources to parents. I was offended by some of the generalizations about the profession. However, this book will still be on a reference slide during a college planning presentation.
I already did. This information is made to be shared.
Jack Kornfield does not take himself too seriously. I love his sense of humor.
No, I wanted to take my time with it. It's something you need to process before you move on.
How Smart Students Pay for School
Although the information was useful, the author came across as a my-way-or-the-highway kind of personality. I took offence to his comments regarding school counselors. We can be a pretty smart bunch and a valuable resource for his listeners.
Will share the book title as a reference during financial aid night.
Not without having them call first.
I ordered the book of Acts and got the book of John. Maybe i'm missing something here, but I expected a different Gospel.
