Richard Burton and Ralph Richardson join together in this unqiue musical production of Samuel Taylor Coleridge's "Rime of the Ancient Mariner". The superb delivery of both these actors is augmented by an original soundtrack composed by David Moore.

    F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic American novel of the Roaring Twenties is beloved by generations of readers and stands as his crowning work. This new audio edition, authorized by the Fitzgerald estate, is narrated by Oscar-nominated actor Jake Gyllenhaal (Brokeback Mountain). Gyllenhaal's performance is a faithful delivery in the voice of Nick Carraway, the Midwesterner turned New York bond salesman, who rents a small house next door to the mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby....

Would you consider the audio edition of The Great Gatsby to be better than the print version?

I read the print version in high school and just re-read via audio book and I thought it was fantastic. It really brings it to life in a completely different way

    Any additional comments?

    Great, highly recommended!

What did you love best about A Clash of Kings?

Narrated well and a great story.

What does Roy Dotrice bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He adds a great stylistic spin, great voice, and interpretation of the characters.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I couldn't even listen to this the narrator was TERRIBLE maybe I am biased because I went from listening to the Outlander which had a fantastic narrator to this, but it was awful. I ended up re-buying the book on kindle and just reading it.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

maybe she was trying to put a stylistic spin on it which I understand but I seriously couldn't listen to it, she would stop in the middle of sentences and emphasize wrong sections. I ended up re-buying the book on kindle and just reading it.
