It's werewolf mating season. All the males are in heat and the driving, sexual lust of their beasts is almost uncontrollable. Mika is human, in an alley, surrounded by four horny werewolves. She knows she's in deep shit. A tall, handsome werewolf rescues her then demands payment. Hot, sweaty, intimate payment. Grady is a half breed whose human mother abandoned him to his werewolf father, so he knows human women just aren't safe to fall in love with. The wolf within him wants Mika as his mate, but Grady will not give in. Never. Ever.

    Story

Adopted Mira (the human heroine) get's caught in the middle of the Were mating season while visiting her Werewolf Uncle who appoints a bodyguard to watch over her until the 2 week 'frenzy' is over.

In prowls handsome Grady, a half breed Werewolf, who has trust issues with humans as he was abandoned by his human Mother so is seeking a Pureblood female to bond with. Trouble starts when he is forced to 'mark' Mira against his will and that's when the passion and non-stop sex really heats up. The problem is Mira's falling hard for him but Grady's human side is fighting a bond but his Wolf side is howling yes yes yes so sex is fine but he's in denial about his true feelings for Mira.

Mira came across as spoilt at times and did some dumb things and there wasn't really a plot other than mating mating and, yes you guessed it, more mating but despite this I really enjoyed all the emotional tension an turmoil as Grady finally had to decide what to do….. before time runs out.

Worth a credit? Well hello, hot hot hot Werewolf action, errr that would be a hell YEAH and I'm ready for Book 2..

Lori might be a popular romance writer, but she's never been anything but a flop with sex and love in her personal life. Still a virgin at twenty-six and increasingly frustrated by her inexperience, she decides to take matters into her own hands. She hires a talented, sexy male escort to take care of her inconvenient virginity.

    Story

I really loved this story, yes it was probably unrealistic but it felt so real, and I loved the slowly developing beautiful love story that evolved and ended in a memorable tearjerker of an ending. Lori, a successful romance writer was embarrassed that she was still a virgin at 26 so she decided to rid herself of the problem once and for all and then she thought she wouldn't be embarrassed and instead she would feel experienced enough to get physical when on dates. She decided to hire a male escort and chose Ander but she wasn't prepared for the handsome, charismatic, sexy, quiet and reserved man who knocked on her door.... and once was never going to be enough.

There was a lot of sex (not kinky) but, as Lori and Ander slowly got to know each other, Lori could see behind his professional face to the man that was desperately trying to get out. Their relationship spanned months, months of tender looks and the cracking facade that Ander carefully erected slowly began to come down. There were secrets, a bit of angst, heartache but out of it all came a beautiful romantic love story when they both finally let their feelings out.

The whole story was mainly focused around them and the characterization of Lori and Ander was amazing because you really felt for both of them and they were both intense, driven, strong, very vulnerable and loveable characters. Ander had to be a good actor for his profession but with Lori there was never any acting - everything was real. Told from Lori's POV and the narrator did a great job.

Worth a credit? As I said before, this is unrealistic, escapism, pure erotic fiction, but some of the best books are and oh how I enjoyed the journey.... a journey that I didn't want to stop and one that will stay with me. So creditworthy.... Hell Yeah!

This was a good easy-going listen that had a bit of everything... light humor, angst between siblings, passion and romance between old friends, drama as the heroine is conflicted and in turmoil with her emotions which results in a traumatic event and there's some dirty talk which leads to some lack lustre sex.

It was all enjoyable and entertaining but I don't think I connected with the heroine because there was no pleasing her and her constant disapproval of what Jack (the sexy hero) and Slade (her brother) were doing got boring. There were good one liners and playful banter, Jack and Slade were both likeable characters and a really dynamic one that stood out was Drogo Jack's unsociable but very funny tiny little dog. But this is more an anti MMA listen than the norm.

Worth a credit? Dual POV's an ok narrator. This wasn't what I was expecting, no bad boys, however it was an enjoyable listen so I guess it's creditworthy.

My name is Lucian Quinn, and I own one of the most successful software companies in the world. I'm 29, rich, and single. Impressive, right? I'm also a favorite target for every hungry socialite looking to land the uncatchable catch. What these women don't know, though, is that I'm completely screwed up and damaged beyond repair. The only part of me I'll ever willingly give them is the hour it takes to make them scream...several times. Then I saw her....

I knew I shouldn't have done it but I did.... I listen to this before I had books 2 and 3 safely in my library and arghhh what a huge mistake that was because now I have to wait and wait and beg Audible to get the next instalment in Lucian and Lia's very addictive bitter-sweet love story.

A story that has the rich, bossy and sexy Lucian, who looked like a God, manipulating things and changing his ways for the sweet, intelligent and beautiful Lia a Student/Escort who has captured his attention with her straight talking, sad history, caring personality, independence and she understands him so well. He has secrets, secrets that gives him terrible nightmares and they make the emotional shutters go down and he turns cold when Lia mentions the scar that runs around his neck. There's also a bitchy ex waiting in the wings who's biding her time til she can cause some trouble.

Two people haunted by the past - one is eaten up by regrets and hate and one is willing to move on but the past catches up with them which leaves an OMG jaw dropping cliffhanger. Sydney Landon has brilliant writing skills but it's taken me all day to forgive her for leaving the story right there. I have a love/hate relationship with trilogies because I have to wait so long for the eventual HEA but there's good news and bad news..... thankfully Book 2 has been released already but I have to wait until May/June time for Book 3.

Worth a credit? These two characters sucked me right into their lives, their heartbreaking back stories, the dilemmas that they're each now faced with, their ever building need to be close to each other and their desire for each other. Intense storyline, great characters, great narration, dual POV's, with heartache, humor, slowly unfolding secrets, drug use, deeply hidden secrets, sizzling chemistry, angst and drama, there's lots of Alpha dirty talking and plenty of sex which makes this a must have trilogy and YES, Part 1 was definitely worth the credit.

This intense and addictive listen starts off describing the Hell that is Daisy's life because her loving but mentally tortured Father has kept her almost a prisoner for most of her life. Escape is the only way to keep her sanity and, as her nail-biting freedom looms, you can't help but feel sorry for the naive 21 yr old virgin as she slowly claims back her life. But, as Daisy is happy and finally living her life with a new roommate, she is being watched, fantasied about and lusted after by a very dangerous Russian hit man.

While you hate Nikolai's profession you're drawn into his sad beginnings as a very young child on the streets of Russia with little hope of surviving until his mentor saves him and trains him to become the cold blooded feared assassin he is today. However, watching Daisy has brought out Nikolai's caring side and, for the first time, he has dreams, hope and a need for someone else in his life. When they meet for the first time it's so sweet because both of them are ignorant of how to flirt or have a relationship but Nikolai would do anything for his Daisy. They are friends then eventually lovers (nice sex scenes) and are in a bubble of happiness until real life comes crashing in on them in the form of two terrifying vicious Russian mobsters resulting in a pulse-pounding kidnapping, threats, violence, revenge and much much much much more.

This fast paced story flowed so well and took me on a very emotional roller coaster ride that had me smiling with happiness, screaming in terror at the chills and thrills, dizzy with the intrigue and twists, sick with the heartache and shattered dreams and finally giddy with anticipation of a HEA for a couple that were just perfect for each other. Dual POV's, the narration was great, loveable characters and a loving sexy gorgeous Russian bad boy.

Worth a credit? Oh boy YEAH it's got everything I could have wished for..... and delivered more too - so, very creditworthy and I'm eagerly waiting for book 2 which picks up on a couple of loose ends which were left tantalisingly dangling in this listen.

Irish McConnell would give his immortality for a taste of Claire Montgomery. But the Fangs of Anarchy leader can't risk his biker club, his vampire clan, or his tenuous truce with werewolf Gannon Dodd, Claire's pack alpha - and her intended mate. Nope. Vamps and weres don't mix, and Irish has managed to keep that in mind for five long, lust-filled years.

Inter-species relationships are forbidden by a Government who rule over the paranormals and humans alike. But this rule Is devastating for Claire because she's a Werewolf who has been whining and panting for a dreamy vampire named Irish for the past five years and he has been dreaming of her too.... also for the last five years but they could never cross the line and break the rules..... until now. Claire is meant to be mated to the mean and nasty Pack Alpha but all hell breaks out when he goes missing and the bloody evidence points to Clare having brutally killed him and so Irish steps in to protect and save her from the pack which is now led by the grieving angry brother of the missing Alpha.

But Claire is holding back secrets, secrets that's going to uncover a child kidnapping ring run by an evil and dangerous Demon which leads to a life threatening situation and not for just one of them. Irish is possessive, compassionate, intense and sexy and their mutual attraction finally leads to some needy lust filled scenes. There's twists, surprises, witty dialogue, dirty talk, sex and a suspense filled storyline which will continue. Other than riding bikes and wearing leathers there's been no reference to the 'MC biker lifestyle'.

Worth a credit? Good narration, told from dual POV's and it was enjoyable, entertaining and yes worth a credit BUT the storyline of Claire, Irish and the ongoing saga continues over a series of 5 fairly short books so I really don't know whether I will continue with this series. In my opinion, breaking a book down like this and making it into a series which will cost the eager listener 5 credits just seems a bit greedy to me..... 2 books I would of happily download, if they're less than $10 each then sure but to use 5 credits they'd all have to be something special.

A very light easygoing listen with a little angst at the end. Not heavy on details.... Alice has always had the hots for her handsome next door neighbour Noah the vampire and Noah has always had the hots for Alice. He needed to get away and quickly so he took a chance and went with her to join the Wedding party on a Cruise but when they had to share a cabin things got tense...... their chemistry sizzled, their attraction grew and all the while her pulse called to him.

There was slight jealousies and angst provided by Brent her ex, a couple of sex scenes, humor, a sweet romance with a little bit of drama at the end but on the whole it was an easy flowing plot. They were a cute couple and there were some amusing family members too. Told from both POV's and the narrator was ok.

Worth a credit? I enjoyed it but I was looking for more so, IMHO, I don't think it's worth a credit if you're looking for a 'meatier' listen.... but definitely a sale purchase.

Kit had an abusive childhood where she had to scheme, hide, plan, outwit and lie in order to keep herself sane, safe and survive the Hell she was in. Now, as an adult, she's free from that tortuous world she is smart, strong, confident, comfortable and she has a successful career but she longed for more.... a dream and one that included a Knight in Shining Armour that could make her inner demons go away.

Unfortunately, old habits die hard and when her friends come around to hear all about the cruise she'd just been on Kit found herself once again lying and invented a wild sexy romantic love story involving an imaginary boyfriend called Rafe Morgan. However, rather than the gossip dying down her lies got spun around the office and before she knew it people were congratulating her on her engagement. Days later at a Cocktail Party a smiling, sexy, handsome, alpha hunk comes striding towards her, swoops her backwards over his arm and passionately kisses her and declares he's missed her..... and his name.... Rafe Morgan.

The dooda really hits the fan this time and what ensues is witty banter, suspicions, fun, secrets, instant chemistry, misunderstandings, a pact, a game of cat and mouse and a love story as cunning and mega rich Rafe slowly ensnares the woman of his dreams. He did this by asking Kit to trust him, move in with him for just 5/6 weeks spinning her a lie about doing it all to make some other woman jealous but it was really Kit that he was deeply attracted to. There's loveable secondary characters ready to welcome her into Rafe's family (including ex Navy SEAL Rafe himself) but Kit, being a realist, dared not dream, she knew all good things must come to an end for her, she was just a pawn in Rafe's game to make a woman jealous and so, for her, time quickly ran out.

Worth a credit? A light, totally implausible, contemporary romance (but hey this is romantic fiction) which had some sad, heartbreaking and nasty memories for both of them about child abuse and the devastating mental and physical damage of war. But thankfully the compassion, humor and tenderness between them brought the plot nicely back to present day attractions, passions, lust and hope. Dual POV's about a man who felt he had found his soul mate and he just needed to convince her of that by any way he could. The narrator was ok - just ok. Undecided about the credit but definitely a sale purchase.

The Summary of this book is true it's about love, lust and obsession.... Mia and Oliver's deep love for each other, Mr. Breckt's lust for Mia and his all consuming obsession to win her...... no matter the cost. He was a powerful, handsome, charismatic vampire used to getting his own way and when Mia kept resisting him he saw red.... blood red. It was a modern day version of Dracula and his craving for Mina.

    **************
    Spoiler Alert
    **************
Don't be fooled (as I was) into thinking this dark chilling story will have a happy ending because it doesn't - everyone loses.... one by red hot jealousy and anger, one by grief and revenge and one by the loss of humanity and nothing left to live for. There's no romantic visions of loveable vampires here, no it's replaced by visions of evil bloodthirsty monsters.

Worth a credit? Told from all three POV's by a narrator who couldn't keep the flow of her English accent which unfortunately kept changing from posh to common like "forever" was said as "faeva" and sometimes it sounded forced and yet at other times she did a good job with emotions. So that, coupled with the dark, sad and depressing storyline (which should NEVER have been put in the Romance category), is why NO WAY do I think this is worth a credit, buy, sale or giveaway purchase and if you too are a romance lover like me then I strongly suggest you walk away from this listen.

Cane was a real alpha bad boy, arrogant, handsome and very sexy and, of course, he knew it with a 'love em and leave em' mentality but when he meets Jada who actually says "no" to him.... the game is on. But Jada has been there, done that and has got the now dissolved marriage licence to prove it so she must stay away from cheating, lying, selfish bad boys... no matter how handsome, drool-worthy and charismatic they are. But chemistry, sex appeal, hope, Cane's pleading and promises finally allowed her to take that leap of faith into his arms.

Cane's personality had no good points at the start but slowly he wanted to make himself better for Jada and she tried to overcome her fears so there was some lovely character growth because they both tried to change for each other. Great banter between all the characters made the actions and reactions seem so real. The plot's got a lot of suspense, angst, drama, twists, thrills and chills provided by a bitter obsessed ex husband, a rival business acquaintance and a handful of jealous females which all led to Jada's old insecurities coming flooding back and it ended in a dangerous deadly situation. There was also a secondary love story between his best friend and her sister/roommate and these two were very supportive and entertaining secondary characters. But it was Cane's 180 degree personality turn, his determination, sensuality and touching heartfelt words that made this a beautiful, sexy and very enjoyable listen.

Worth a credit? Told from dual POV's, good narration, a sexy, loveable, huggable hero and a very addictive build-up to a roller coaster romance made this, IMHO, a must have listen.

Trust, loyalties, love and second chances come into play but the plot holds drama, angst and bitter betrayals too when greed and jealousies have an evil plan of their own. It's a beautiful romance that's so touching and heartfelt, with great secondary family members all willing to help two lost souls find love and, despite all the obstacles standing in their way, these two lovers deserve their very HEA ending.
