Hilariously written and highly enjoyable. It should come with a warning about one chapter's very graphic descriptions of how meat is raised, handled and slaughtered. Seriously not for the squeamish. So many really good insights that aside from that one issue, it's a great read (listen).
So sad to see the story end. But enjoyed every single minute of listening to the cast of characters... so beautifully narrated.
Oh Dr. Dyer, I would be such a better person if I simply played this over and over again every day of my life... or if I lived next door to you in Hawaii. =)
There are some repetitions of fad sayings through some of the 101 ways... but put into the context of using them to actually become more in tune with our world and ourselves... they take on a deeper meaning.
Of course, having Dr Dyer as the narrator is a huge plus. His voice has a calming spiritual nature and tone which adds to the pleasure of listening to this audiobook.
I didn't know what to expect since this is a collection of 'radio' programs and speeches... but WOW what a powerful mind and spirit expanding experience.
We are hearing more of Joseph's message and ideas now through other spiritual leaders yet his is so genuine and humble. The fact that these took place in the late 70's and 80's gets me asking... where was I then? I only wish I could have experienced this man's spirit and message while he was alive.
I enjoyed every minute of this collection and HIGHLY RECOMMEND it.
I find myself laughing out loud in sort of a snort and chortle way... completely unexpected. This book takes you on a wild and wonderfully colorful journey through this bizarre author's life/mind/family. I absolutely LOVE this book and HIGHLY recommend it.
It was recommended to me a few years ago by my very intelligent and highly evolved daughter (she's single and gorgeous if anyone is interested!) My only regret (about this book, not about life in general) is that I waited so long to get it. I am seriously looking forward to reading the rest of his works. YOU'LL LOVE IT.
Liz Gilbert is incredibly adept at reading her own material and bringing life to it. This book is a joy to listen to. I felt transported to lands far away and LOVED her description of people, places, things (especially the food!!!) and her own humbling experience as she journeyed to find herself. Loved it!!!
This quick guide for manifesting was very different from what I expected... BUT... it is very moving and deeply spiritual. I enjoyed it immensely and I do recommend.
Very enjoyable read... quick... easy to start and stop anywhere, as well as fascinating subject matter. I do recommend this book.
Really nicely done. I regularly listen to this and have found it very helpful.
This is a really good book whose focus could have been a bit more redeeming. Is it really all about my wants and needs or could we have been given more insight into how to harness the law of attraction not only for ourselves but for the world. Still.. not a bad read (listen).
