For Seattle detective Joanne Walker, spring is about new beginnings. She’s mastered her shamanic abilities (mostly), survived a cannibalistic serial killer (barely) and now she’s facing the biggest challenge of her career—attending a dance concert with her sexy boss, Captain Michael Morrison. But when the performance—billed as transformative—actually changes her into a coyote, she and Morrison have bigger things to deal with.

What did you love best about Spirit Dances?

The narrator was great! I loved that even though I didn't read the other books in the series it didn't keep me from enjoying this one.

    Any additional comments?

Someone in a review said that this book had chick lit porn in it.... It doesn't. Maybe two kisses with close on. FYI! :)

He is no longer the boy Lexi once knew, but a dangerous-looking man with tattoos and dark secrets. He broke her trust and abandoned her family, yet what he reveals makes it impossible to stay angry. Lexi has been secretly infatuated with Austin since childhood, so finding out he's a Shifter just makes him sexier.

I tried really hard to like this book. I did. I've tried listening to it all week. It's become the book that puts me to sleep in about 2 minutes.

They narrator sounds like she is talking out of her nose. Maybe she had a cold? But the emphasis she puts on words should not be there. It is very hard to listen to her. Of course I didn't listen to the sample...who does that?

The story... I just can't. I can't, listen to a Educated Heroin turned clingy, winey and stupid. And there isn't really anything that happens to keep my interest. I'm half way threw and maybe it gets better. But I can't even talk myself into finishing it. Sorry. I got a new credit today thankfully. Now I can find something else.

Life's no fun being a dragon, especially when you are forced into responsibilities that involve trying to keep the peace between an array of shifters, mages, and faeries in order to bring down the scariest and deadliest foe the Otherworld has ever seen. And that's not to mention the fact that your own soul mate hates your guts. Mack Smith, a fiery Draco Wyr, is battling to come to terms with her emotions, her heritage, and her true capabilities. All she has to do is defeat Endor, win back Corrigan, and live happily ever after.

I listened to the whole series in just a couple months.... I couldn't wait for my credit I was so addicted. Fast pace paranormal with out all the ridiculousness that some of the new series have. And the narrator was really good! We all know the narrator makes or breaks a book and she defiantly is one of my favorites.

Number-one New York Times best-selling author Charlaine Harris has won numerous awards for her Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire series, which has been adapted into the hit HBO show True Blood. In this 13th and final book, a murder rocks the town of Bon Temps and Sookie is arrested for the crime. If you could sum up Dead Ever After in three words, what would they be?

I was ver nervous for the last book ever. But I was surprised, in a good way. She reintroduced old characters. Some I couldn't remember at first. Things aren't in a tidy bow at the ending but they are wrapped up to the pont that we don't need another book. Do I want another book? Of course. But I am satisfied with the ending. Someone dies again, and the people responsible have framed Sookie and someone just wants her plain dead. Everyone comes back to help solve the mystery or to just lend their strengths. And of course it was beautifully read. Johanna Parker is one of my favorites. I wouldn't have listened to it if she wasn't the narrator.

Rose Drayton lives on the Edge, between the world of the Broken (where people drive cars, shop at Wal-Mart, and magic is a fairy tale) and the Weird (where blueblood aristocrats rule, changelings roam, and the strength of your magic can change your destiny). Only Edgers like Rose can easily travel from one world to the next, but they never truly belong in either.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I bought this book during a sale. Buy two books for one credit. But you had to chose from their list, so since I read tons I thought why not. wow am I surprised. I was entertained right from the start. Rose and her brothers are trying to stop their small town on the edge from someone or something trying to consume their magic. With the help of a handsome stranger of course!

Who was your favorite character and why?

THe brothers where my favorite. I can just imagine theirs big puppy dog eyes and look of admiration as they spill all the secrets they hear, just like all little kids.

What about Renée Raudman’s performance did you like?

I always knew which character she was portraying without playing super close attention. I clean and bake while I listen! And she wasn't a cheese reader. Very good.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Yes! And I almost did.
