Todd, the youngest of four children, has a developmental disability that keeps him at home on the farm with his mother and father. One special holiday season, Todd hears an ad on the radio from a shelter looking for temporary homes for their dogs during the holiday week. When Todd's parents at last give in to his pleas for this charitable cause, the family is faced with an entire shelter full of dogs needing homes.

Prince Liam. Prince Frederic. Prince Duncan. Prince Gustav. You've never heard of them, have you? These are the princes who saved Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Snow White, and Rapunzel, respectively, and yet, thanks to those lousy bards who wrote the tales, you likely know them only as Prince Charming. But all of this is about to change.

What did you love best about The Hero's Guide to Saving Your Kingdom?

This is a silly story about who the four "prince charmings" from several fairy tales really are. My daughter was reading it, so I bought the audio book so we could listen to it in the car. I just have to say that Bronson Pinchot's performance is nothing short of miraculous. You must listen to this audio book just to hear what he does with the voices of these characters. We were cracking up the entire time - partially because the book is really funny, but mostly because of what Pinchot's characterizations added to the story. Probably one of the best readings I have ever heard!

What did you love best about The Wedding Gift?

There were many parts of this book that were hard to read/listen to because it deals with slavery. This is something that I sometimes just want to pretend never happened it is so unbelievably horrible. That being said, this book is so well written that I couldn't stop reading it. The author did an amazing job of being true to history and at the same time developing fictional characters that were well thought out and believable all the way through. And the narrators were just perfect - the best I've heard!

What did you like best about this story?

The hope in the main characters who, despite impossible circumstances, did what they thought was right. They were both very strong women!

What does Jenna Lamia and January LaVoy bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The emotion and characterization that their narrations add to this book are indescribable?

What if your whole world was a lie? What if a single revelation - like a single choice - changed everything? What if love and loyalty made you do things you never expected? The explosive conclusion to Veronica Roth's #1 New York Times best-selling Divergent trilogy reveals the secrets of the dystopian world that has captivated millions of listeners in Divergent and Insurgent.

Would you consider the audio edition of Allegiant to be better than the print version?

I actually do because chapters are written from the perspectives of Tris and Tobias - they go back and forth. When I was reading, I would get confused as to which of them was talking. With the Audio version, their voices are performed by a male and a female, so I did not get confused, obviously. I read, didn't listen to Divergent or Insurgent, but I enjoyed the audio version of this installment better.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Allegiant?

There is really no way to answer this without spoilers!

    Which scene was your favorite?

    Spoilers!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The last several chapters were heart wrenching!

    Any additional comments?

There were so many negative reviews of this book that, even though I had read Divergent and Insurgent and bought Allegiant the day it came out, I waited for a long time before reading it. I started reading it and put it down several times. Then I decided to purchase the audio version and I loved it. It is brilliantly written - I don't know what people want. I guess for a perfectly happy ending where everything just works out the way they want it to. But that is really not realistic - especially for a series like this. I am 48 years old, so maybe this has something to do with it. If I had read it as a teen, I probably wouldn't have understood why she took the route she did and wouldn't have wanted anything sad to happen. Don't believe the reviews - read it and decide for yourself. Whether you like what happens in the story or not, it is extremely well written and thought out - excellent end to the series in my opinion!

Thirteen-year-old Kyra has grown up in an isolated polygamous community without questioning her father's three wives and her 20 brothers and sisters. Or at least without questioning them much - if you don't count her secret visits to the Mobile Library on Wheels to read forbidden books, or her meetings with the boy she hopes to choose for herself instead of having a man chosen for her.

Would you listen to The Chosen One again? Why?

I probably wouldn't listen again because I don't like to listen to books more than once, but that does not mean I don't think it was GREAT! I loved the story - so sad because it is based on true facts, but very well written. Jenna Lamia is my favorite narrator and she, once again, did an awesome job reading this one!

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Chosen One?

This is difficult to answer without giving something away!

What does Jenna Lamia bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Jenna really makes you feel what the character is feeling. I think you get into her heart more hearing it read by Jenna than you would just by reading it.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes - I wanted to. I never have that much time all at once, but if I could have listened to it all in one sitting, I probably would have!

    Any additional comments?

This is a great YA book for girls over 13 years old. There are a few things in it that are a little rough, so I would say any younger than that might be too young.

Laugh-out-loud funny and deeply touching, Beth Hoffman's sparkling debut is, as Kristin Hannah says, "packed full of Southern charm, strong women, wacky humor, and good old-fashioned heart." It is a novel that explores the indomitable strengths of female friendship and gives us the story of a young girl who loses one mother and finds many others.

What made the experience of listening to Saving Ceecee Honeycutt the most enjoyable?

The story was amazing - so well written, encouraging, made me laugh and cry - sometimes in the same page! Jenna Lamia is my favorite narrator and she did a phenomenal job with all of the voices in this story. I'm not a writer and really can't even write a review very well, but I would recommend this book to anyone.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Saving Ceecee Honeycutt?

There were so many memorable moments, but one of the parts I enjoyed the most was CeCe sending the pictures of the "traveling bra" to her neighbor~!

    Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite scene was the one at the party when the CeCe's aunts two friends got into the fight - it just cracked me up. There is a little language in this scene - just beware if you are recommending this book to someone on the younger side.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Again, there were so many, but I think when CeCe has the vision of her mother dying and realizes her grief was the moment that moved me the most. When she finally has the chance to deal with everything that had happened to her over her short life.

    Any additional comments?

Again, Jenna Lamia is absolutely phenomenal as the narrator!
