I'm always looking for an author that challenges my mind. I listen to 2-3 books a week... What a great book! Of course Mr. Hill is a master.
I really don't know how to start, but here goes. I expected another great Presidential agent series instead we get something out of a horse barn. The author's thought they were going to be cute and do something way out there. All they did was loose me and many other readers. I listened twice and still did not get it. All the books before #8 were awesome. What happened? Dick Hill was great as always!
First I have to say I'm a BIG sci-fi fan, always have been. Never been much for fantasy, but DAY 1 & DAY 2 are not what I would call fantasy. They are in a category of their own!
Mr. Eisler's abilities as an author & narrator is a rare combination. Oh, there are others, but none have been half as good. I listen to 8-10 books a month. I can not wait for the next book in this series....I hope there is more in the works.
The narrator can make or break the story. It's a shame that you can take a really good writer and change to a poor one.
It seems that we look at the narrator first when looking for a book. We love Scott Brick.
From start to finish, one of the best audio books I've heard. My new favorite author!
