The crash of a Dallas-bound jet wasn't just a tragedy to TV reporter Avery Daniels; it was an act of fate that handed her a golden opportunity to further her career. Mistaken for a glamorous, selfish woman named Carole Rutledge, the badly injured Avery would find that plastic surgery had given her Carole's face, a famous senatorial candidate for a husband, and a powerful Texas dynasty for in-laws.

I was addicted to this book from the start, I listen while driving to work and home...I usually try to find the quickest route home, but when listening to this book, I went the long way home...I was pulled in immediately and would find myself arguing with the husband...his feeling were acceptable towards his wife, but not towards this woman who plays her part...I really enjoyed this one...and when it was over I cried. I wasn't looking forward to starting another book after this one, not knowing what would happen, would it be boring after this exciting one, but let me recommend "Play Dirty", I was hooked right away, so it's a good book to follow "Mirror Image".

From #1 New York Times-best-selling author Nora Roberts comes a novel of a woman who needs nothing, a man who sees everything, and the web of deceit, greed, and danger that brings them together - and that could tear them apart… As a professional house-sitter and freelance writer, nothing ties Lila Emerson down - not her work, not a home, and definitely not a relationship. She spends her life moving from one job to the next, sometimes crashing at a friend 's Manhattan apartment. And though she can appreciate her clients ' extraordinary homes, their expensive collections, and their adorable pets, Lila has never longed for possessions of her own. Everything she has, including her heart, is portable.

The historic hotel in Boonsboro has endured war and peace, the changing of hands, and even rumored hauntings. Now it’s getting a major face-lift from the Montgomery brothers and their eccentric mother. As the architect in the family, Beckett’s social life consists mostly of talking shop over pizza and beer. But there’s another project he’s got his eye on: the girl he’s been waiting to kiss since he was sixteen.

I'm on book 3 of the trilogy and I've enjoyed every bit of it. I listen to them on my drive to and from work. I find myself not minding running errands on the way home or going the back way, just so I can listen to more..the story and characters pull you in, it's a well put together story line and the readers voice is very nice and fits the characters well...the transition is smooth from one book to the next. I don't want it to end! I hope you take a chance on them and enjoy them like I have!

On a rainy Southern night, Jade Sperry endured a young woman's worst nightmare at the hands of three local hell-raisers. Robbed of her youthful ideals and at the center of scandal and tragedy, Jade ran as far and as fast as she could. But she never forgot the sleepy "company town" where every man, woman, and child was dependent on one wealthy family.

Things like this happen, but it's how you react to it and grow from it that builds character. I felt sorry for Jade, but also respected her as she slowly grew into the woman she became at the end. I respected her for going back and facing her attackers and dealing with them as she did. I was captivated by the story and how it moved, with it's twists and turns. It keeps you hooked. I totally recommend listening to this one.

New York book editor Maris Matherly-Reed knows a best seller when she sees one - even if it is just a tantalizing partial manuscript submitted by a writer identified only as P.M.E., with the return address of an obscure island off the Georgia coast. Maris is intrigued enough to search for him.

I enjoyed the trilogy totally! My first experience with audio books and I say "Bravo!"! I could listen in my car, at the gym, in my kitchen. I just loved the experience and loved the love story, the excitement, the chatter with other people about the books, the Narrator was awesome, I wonder how they have time to breath and read as perfectly as she did. Thank you!

"Gideon Cross came into my life like lightning in the darkness… He was beautiful and brilliant, jagged and white-hot. I was drawn to him as I’d never been to anything or anyone in my life. I craved his touch like a drug, even knowing it would weaken me. I was flawed and damaged, and he opened those cracks in me so easily…Gideon knew. He had demons of his own. And we would become the mirrors that reflected each other’s most private wounds…and desires."

Perfect book, perfect Narrator, and perfect story especially if your looking for something more after reading the 50 Shades of Grey series...I call this the perfect "Withdrawal book"...the story is different, the characters different, but there's action, sex, heat, raw emotions, and great excitement to help get you through...really enjoying the audio books. I hope I reviewed this and gave it the credit it deserves, this being my first experiences at the audio listening world.
