Merit has been a vampire for only a short while, but she's already seen a lifetime's worth of trouble. Anti-vampire riots are erupting all over town, striking vampires where it hurts the most. A splinter group armed with Molotov cocktails and deep-seated hate is intent on clearing the fanged from the Windy City come hell or high water. Merit and her allies rush to figure out who's behind the attacks, who will be targeted next, and whether there's any way to stop the wanton destruction. The battle for Chicago is just beginning, and Merit is running out of time.

I have enjoyed this series immensely... however the last two book have felt rushed. I know publishers give deadlines and I wish they would stop doing that it always ruins good stories. This one was just ok if your like this series then I would suggest reading it but do not be in a rush and maybe wait to see if it goes on sale buy one get one type of thing cause I know I wish I had waited .

They killed me. They healed me. They changed me. Sure, the life of a graduate student wasn't exactly glamorous, but it was mine. I was doing fine until Chicago's vampires announced their existence to the world---and then a rogue vampire attacked me. But he only got a sip before he was scared away by another bloodsucker...and this one decided that the best way to save my life was to make me the walking undead.

Redemption isn't a word Jim Heron knows much about - his specialty is revenge, and to him, sin is all relative. But everything changes when he becomes a fallen angel and is charged with saving the souls of seven people from the seven deadly sins. Vin diPietro long ago sold his soul to his business, and he's good with that - until fate intervenes in the form of a tough-talking Harley-riding, self-professed savior.

Where does Covet rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

My top 3 so far J. R. Ward is a awesome author.

What does Eric G. Dove bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

It took a few chapters to get use to him over BDBH narrator but he does a very good job.

    Any additional comments?

Now i am going to buy the rest of the series even the 4th book which reviewer say is not the best due to the narration speed i dont care about that stuff im off to listen to more from this series :)
