I can sum this review up in just two words, this sucks!!! Don't bother with it.
After reading some glowing reviews about this book, I purchased it. First, the author reads his own book, and my opinion, whenever that happens, it seems our ears suffer. One would think that reading his own book, the author might have voice inflection when needed. This one - not so much. The content of this book is questionable. First, I have never heard of D.C. Gonzalez, which really doesn't mean anything. Second, some of his stories sound like they came from the movies. For instance, the story of him and his crew being pinned down by a drug lord sniper and not being allowed to go rescue the others because of an overbearing supervisor, sounds like half the cop movies made today. Third, if the author is going to use his martial arts master in this book, at least make him believable. Leo-tai, sounds like the turtle from Kung Fu Panda. Fourth, the story of him and his master fending off a pack of ravenous raccoons by throwing stones was quite funny. I will have to remember that, when I come across raccoons that might have rabies. Fifth, this book is severely lacking in training concepts. You are better off watching several Kung Fu movies. At least you know what you are getting there.
This book is nothing like they say. You might as well say this brainwashing tool.
First of all, you have several different narrators telling you their version of goal setting. Each one is basically the same. What I bought this book for and what I received were two different things. If you want a book on goal setting I would suggest taking a look at Tommy Newberry's book about the 1%.
I read some of the other reviews and am wondering if they weren't paid reviews. The author continually wants you to go to a website for a "complimentary" pro subscription because you bought this book. Narrator could have done a better job, but if you have read anything by Napoleon Hill or Dale Carnegie, you have read this book. The author makes some sense sometime, but save your money, read one of the other authors I mentioned.
