At long last, Gaius Petreius Ruso and his companion, Tilla, are headed home - to Gaul. Having received a note consisting only of the words "COME HOME!" Ruso has (reluctantly, of course) pulled up stakes and brought Tilla to meet his family. But the reception there is not what Ruso has hoped for: no one will admit to sending for him, and his brother Lucius is hoping he'll leave.

Laurie says: "Well worth the wait!"
    "Scriptor est Notus."

[The author is known] This is the third of Ruth Downie's books, and it has maintained the same high standard. These are fun reading or listening as the case may be and I have all three on my mp3 player. I am awaiting the next installment. If you are a history, historical fiction or love things Roman, it is a great series, written with whit and a bit of irony.

Football has come to the ancient city of Ankh-Morpork - not the old-fashioned, grubby pushing and shoving, but the new, fast football with pointy hats for goalposts and balls that go gloing when you drop them. And now, the wizards of Unseen University must win a football match, without using magic, so they're in the mood for trying everything else.

Terry Pratchett has done it again and again...from tourists to death, they are always fun. While the book talks about 'football' or here in the USA 'soccer', and the Unseen University. But he could have been speaking of almost any college or university and football in the US and their crowds of fans. Once again there is the satirical poke at the world around us.

New York Times best-selling author Charlaine Harris has re-imagined the supernatural world with her "spunky" (Tampa Tribune) Southern Vampire novels, starring telepathic waitress Sookie Stackhouse. Now, for the first time, here is every Sookie Stackhouse short story ever written - together in one volume. The stories include "Fairy Dust", "One Word Answer", "Dracula Night", "Lucky" and "Giftwrap".

A User says: "Good read after Sookie's series"
    "Very much alive"
    Overall

This is a great 'filler' that fills in some of the back story for this series.
