His fury governs him, and day by day he loses himself to the darkness in his soul. But Quinn has a profound yearning for a woman's love. . . . Raised by Druids, the achingly beautiful Marcail is as spellbinding as the ancient magic that surges through her body. To Quinn, she is the most desirable woman he has ever known. But to his enemy Deirdre, she is the perfect bait to lure Quinn into her trap.

Things are about to heat up.… Brandi Vaughn wishes she could stand out. She’d do anything to get out from behind the shadow of her socialite family - which now includes Dani, her half sister, recently discovered to be the most powerful vampire known to their kind.

But Brandi is more extraordinary than anyone realizes. The fiery young vamp has a secret elemental power - an inner flame that she must keep under control so as not to reveal herself to the dangerous rogue vampire targeting exceptional talents like hers.

Would you try another book from Cat Miller and/or Neva Navarre?

Yes if she changed her romance a little. I don't like how these characters are "in love" with multiple people. This makes it feel like they are still kids and don't know what they want.

If you’ve listened to books by Cat Miller before, how does this one compare?

    This is my first one.

Did Neva Navarre do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

    Wonderful love her!

Was Unforgiven worth the listening time?

Yes I love how Cat Miller allows all view points from all characters! This keeps it going and never boring.

    Any additional comments?

I would have given this book a 5 star if the female characters didn't have so many men inlove with them. A lot of that makes it feel like high school and hard to believe they completely love their man in the end.

If you could sum up Night Embrace in three words, what would they be?

    ROMANTIC!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Night Embrace?

Talon hes romantic and completely in love!

What does Carrington MacDuffie bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She does a good job but not my favorite pick.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    Wouldn't make it a film.

    Any additional comments?

Like most of her books at first I have a hard time getting into the characters, but towards the middle of the book I love them.

What made the experience of listening to Acheron the most enjoyable?

The last half of the book is a good love story.

What did you like best about this story?

It had good humor in the 2nd half

What about Holter Graham’s performance did you like?

    Hes my favorite so far.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

    No

    Any additional comments?

Warning! The first 12 hours of this book is very hard to listen to. I almost didn't want to finish, but once you get the the 2nd half it is worth it and explains a lot. I do wish she would have not taken so long in writing about all the horrible things that happen to him. I am realizing with this author she tends to start off slow in her books and when you are half way through it becomes a great story and you end up wanting more.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I just couldn't get into these characters. I wish she would have written about Felix or Constantine. I am still hoping she does.

What could J. T. Geissinger have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I really couldn't get into the whole babies have powers thing. I am over the queen and the alpha ready to move on from them. They were in this story more than the main characters I thought.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Angela Dawe?

She did a good job, shes kinda loud though.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

I did laugh a lot during their fighting scenes, those were very cute.

    Any additional comments?

Please Please JT Geissinger give us some more of Demetrius brothers!

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I didn't feel the love between the 2 main characters at all!

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I would have rather heard more about Melissa and Mark and had Cage and Robin be the back characters in this book. I loved her other 3 books in this series and was soooo looking forward to this read, but like I said felt no real love/romance at all between Cage and Robin. I really didn't even like Robin. I liked Cage in the other books before but this book made me dislike him.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Amy McFadden?

    Shes awesome!

Could you see Allegiance being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

    No

Would you try another book from Cassandra Clare and/or Jason Dohring and Sophie Turner ?

    Yes. I love her stories.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I wish...1 they were older say 18-20 age, 2 she would stick with Ed Westwick, Molly C. Quinn as the narrators. The narrators in this book are horrible. 3 I was very surprised to see that there was not as much passion between Clary and Jace this go around, or maybe it was the narrators that ruined it. 4 That Jace wasn't always getting knocked out. I mean really isn't he suppose to be the best shadow hunter? Would be better if Cassandra had him winning more fights and doing some rescuing Clary more often, like he was in the beginning.

What three words best describe Jason Dohring and Sophie Turner ’s performance?

    Horrible!

Was City of Heavenly Fire worth the listening time?

Yes and no, because I loved the other 5 books but I am just disappointed with number 6.

Sometimes the only way to love - and redemption - is to make a deal with the devil. After the death of her parents, Lady Aurora de Marquise is left with no illusions. With her life on the line, she narrowly avoids another murder attempt - only to run headlong into Lord Brigham de Mornay, a man most consider a monster. Would you ever listen to anything by Coreene Callahan again?

How could the performance have been better?

The narrator just made it sound slow and boring.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Yes the story was a good one basically, like I said just needed more action.
