This book had so many complex and improbable threads woven through the story at high speed that I became numb to trying to keep it all straight after a while. It tries hard to be a Clive Cussler type novel but it tries too hard. The author has potential but I had a hard time liking this book and had to make myself finish it.
I've enjoyed what I've seen of her work on TV so I was hoping for some good laughs out of this book but it fell disappointingly short of the mark. Also, the use of a PDF which required you to LOOK at something to be able to enjoy LISTENING to an audiobook seemed ridiculous. It's an AUDITORY medium after all. I wish I'd saved this credit for something better.
We've always enjoyed Dean Koontz's books. This one was no exception. We are dog lovers so were intriqued and were delighted to find it as entertaining and pleasant a listen as any of his other books we've enjoyed. Highly recommend it to dog lovers and Koontz fans everywhere.
