Take the cheesiest action hero movie you can think of, sprinkle in some old tired jokes and unimaginative one liners and you get Warriors. I'm by no means a book snob, I like the action books as much as the next guy but this book was just good to not turn of and give up on but by no means was it good enough.
The beginning of the book held my attention and I was excited to have found a good book. About 4 hours in the story just stalled and stalled and stalled. I'm about half way through and I'm not sure if I can push through anymore, it is just not going anywhere and I find myself in and out of paying attention, a problem I rarely have with audio books. I may try to push through it because I like the premise of the story, but overall very disappointing.
The third book in this series, I like each book a little less than the first. Still though I would have to say I would recommend it. The book is entertaining and holds your attention throughout. Narration was good as always.
I loved the first book in this series and I was disappointed when I saw there was a new narrator but Richard Ferrone does a fine job as well. The book while not as interesting as the first is still a very good and an entertaining read.
The title says it all. If you are a dad put this one on your reading list.
Not as good as the first book but if you read the first book and liked it, it won't disappoint. I think Wouk is one of the best storytellers I have ever read. Kevin Pariseau is a perfect fit for this book, he does a tremendous job narrating.
This book was an interesting concept but I feel like the author could have done so much more with it. I found myself getting bored with the book. Overall, it is not a must read but it is also not terrible. It was just so so.
This is my second Wouk book and he does not disappoint. He gets you so involved in the characters that the story line really comes in second. I never thought he would be able to keep my attention for this entire book but after reading the Cain Mutiny I had to give it a chance and it was great. Highly recommend.
I've been searching for a 4 or 5 star read for almost two years now and finally I stumbled upon Vince Flynn. Great book, great narration, I'm starting book two in the Rapp series tomorrow and I can't wait.
Very interesting book. Kept my attention, good reader. The end dragged a bit but other than that I highly recommend.
