After being murdered by a mystery assailant, navigating his way through the realm between life and death, and being brought back to the mortal world, Harry realizes that maybe death wasn’t all that bad - because he is no longer Harry Dresden, Chicago’s only professional wizard. He is now Harry Dresden, Winter Knight to Mab, the Queen of Air and Darkness. After Harry had no choice but to swear his fealty, Mab wasn’t about to let something as petty as death steal away the prize she had sought for so long.

There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

I came across this Novel by sheer chance, and I am so glad I did. The Narrator Ray Porter brings the Story to life sucks you into the story. Author Peter Clines, is now on my radar, and I hope(finger crossed) many more books to come in the series. Great book and Great Listen. I recommend to anyone who like a bit of history with their mystery.

Harry Dresden, Chicago's only professional wizard, is about to have a very bad day.… Because as Winter Knight to the Queen of Air and Darkness, Harry never knows what the scheming Mab might want him to do. Usually, it’s something awful. He doesn’t know the half of it… Mab has just traded Harry’s skills to pay off one of her debts. And now he must help a group of supernatural villains - led by one of Harry’s most dreaded and despised enemies, Nicodemus Archleone - to break into the highest-security vault in town, so that they can then access the highest-security vault in the Nevernever.

D says: "Hold onto your staff; Harry’s back."

I couldn't stop listening, The Writing of Jim Butcher, and the Story telling skills of James Marsters did it again in Skin Game!! I'm not one who normally writes reviews, never felt the urge before. But this Series is just so Fantastic! Jim knows how to suck you in with his writing of a great novel(s) and James really knows how to strap you in for an enjoyable ride of yet another chapter in the Files of Dresden. Simply Put WOW, sit back, keep arms and feet inside the coaster at all times! What a ride. I didn't want it to end! In fact I'm going to cut the line and ride it again right now.

The veil to the underworld has been torn, and Rahl, from beyond the veil, begins to summon a sinister power more dreadful than any he has wielded before. Horrifying creatures escape through the torn veil, wreaking havoc on the unsuspecting world above.

I don't know if it was the Quality of the the Audio file, or It is Just Jim Bond's Voice that made me want to stab my ear drums out. Brilliance Audio needs to Release with all the Books in the series with Sam Tsoutsouvas, Remove Jim Bond.
