I've read the book already, and loved the story.
Unexpected love is always enjoyable to hear about.
The narrator totally pulled me out of the story. He was rushed, mispronounced words, and had no emotion.
Jared, of course. He's so sweet. And I'd love to see his curls.
I absolutely recommend Kristen's books.
No. I've read Mystery Man twice, and I love it. But the more I listen to the narrated version, the more I dislike it. The inflection, the tone, and the emotion are just not adding up for me. The whiney voice she uses for the secondary characters, and the weird whispery voice she uses for the main character make everyone seem weak and annoying.
I would. I liked the plot and the characters very much.
I'm always a sucker for the "I love you" moment.
The narrator was terrible. He has a nasally voice, seemed to be just reading the words from the book with absolutely no prior preparation, had zero inflection or emotion.
