Everyone knows the story-how Arthur pulled the sword from the stone, how Camelot came to be, and about the power struggles that ultimately destroyed Arthur's dreams. But what of the time before Arthur and the forces that created him?

What did you love best about The Skystone?

I loved history of Britan from the Roman occupation and the story of a warm and loving family.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Cius Britanicus as he is the catalyst that sets things going.

What does Kevin Pariseau bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

All of his voices for each character is incredible he even handles the womens voices ok a tough thing to do in Audio books If I have any criticism it would be that he reads a little too slowly but as I got into the book i got used to it.

Who was the most memorable character of The Skystone and why?

I loved Lucia with all her strenght of character and determination

    Any additional comments?

I am an avid Jack Whyte fan and have read every one of his books but I am reliving them now in his audio books and it is a thrill. Just started the singing sword and can hardly wait!

Jamie Fraser knows from his time-traveling wife Claire that, no matter how unlikely it seems, America will win the Revolutionary War. But that truth offers little solace, since Jamie realizes he might find himself pointing a weapon directly at his own son - a young officer in the British army. And Jamie isn't the only one with a tormented soul - for Claire may know who wins the conflict, but she certainly doesn't know whether or not her beloved Jamie survives.

Charles says: "Read all of Gabaldon's stuff before this one"
    "What a BORE!!!"

Would you try another book from Diana Gabaldon and/or Davina Porter?

    No

Would you ever listen to anything by Diana Gabaldon again?

    NO

    Which scene was your favorite?

    NONE

    Any additional comments?

I have read and listened to every one of these books and the last three must be the most boring books I have ever read or listened to. I keep waiting for something interesting to happen but nothing ever does. This is such a sad ending to such a womderful love story What could have happened to this author it is almost as if she died and someone else decided to pick up the story!I will never listen to another one of her books
