Paul Bäumer is just 19 years old when he and his classmates enlist. They are Germany’s Iron Youth who enter the war with high ideals and leave it disillusioned or dead. As Paul struggles with the realities of the man he has become, and the world to which he must return, he is led like a ghost of his former self into the war’s final hours. All Quiet is one of the greatest war novels of all time, an eloquent expression of the futility, hopelessness and irreparable losses of war.

If you could sum up All Quiet on the Western Front in three words, what would they be?

    Heart-rending, passionate, gritty

Who was your favorite character and why?

Paul, through whose eyes the whole story unfolds

Have you listened to any of Frank Muller’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Muller brings character and depth to this work. He makes it as believable as if he were there

Jonathan Cecil, described as having “one of the best-loved voices in audiobooks” by the P. G. Wodehouse Society, narrates this collection of brilliantly entertaining stories featuring Jeeves and Wooster, including: "Jeeves and the Impending Doom", "Jeeves and the Kid Clementina", "The Inferiority Complex of Old Sippy", "The Love That Purifies", "Jeeves and the Yule-Tide Spirit", "Jeeves and the Old School Chum", "Jeeves and the Song of Songs", "Indian Summer of an Uncle", "Episode of the Dog McIntosh", "The Ordeal of Young Tuppy", and "The Spot of Art."

    C. Telfair says: "Very, Very Good Jeeves"
    "Classic Wodehouse hilarity!"

If you could sum up Very Good Jeeves in three words, what would they be?

Slapstick, zany, rib-tickling. Wodehouse's wacky way of bringing the unexpected into the stories always keeps me in stitches.

What other book might you compare Very Good Jeeves to and why?

    Mulliner Nights

Which character – as performed by Jonathan Cecil – was your favorite?

    The inimitable Jeeves

    Any additional comments?

Thoroughly delightful. I listened as I ran each day.

A Signature Performance: Tim Curry, the source of our inspiration, returns – this time, he captures the quirky enthusiasm of this goofily visionary adventure.

Would you try another book from Jules Verne and/or Tim Curry?

Verne was ahead of his time. Curry read spectacularly.

What was most disappointing about Jules Verne’s story?

Limited characters. But the few were developed well. The story was more esoteric and filled with scientific jargon than I expected.

What about Tim Curry’s performance did you like?

His accents and pronunciations were terrific
