In Battle Station, Kyle Riggs faces new challenges, new alien fleets, and learns the secrets behind the war he has been fighting for years. In the fifth book of the Star Force Series, the Eden system is in humanity's grasp, but can they keep it? Star Force is weak after a long war, and many yearn to go home. Knowing the machines will return with a new armada eventually, Riggs seeks a more permanent solution. Along the way, worlds are won and lost, millions perish, and great truths are revealed.

    William says: "Non-stop Sci-Fi Action"

What did you love best about Battle Station?

Excellent story as always like the last books, fast paced and everything is explained into just enough detail that is does not get boring and it helps the story in the end.

What did you like best about this story?

How it is written, how the pace of book is and the whole plot of the epic is well though.

Have you listened to any of Mark Boyett’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, and he brings the characters in this series very much to live. I would just say "well done"

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Quick answer is "Yes!, and without have to go to the toilet"

    Any additional comments?

Hope that the series will continue for a few more books so the saga can have a good ending. Waiting for the next book.

What made the experience of listening to Stark's Command the most enjoyable?

Jack Campbell continues the story about Stark and it is exciting to see how military force can possible cope with those circumstance that they are in.
Good story and thoughts but is slow paced in some places where the author is explaining the environment at the moon again in same words as in the first book, especially after you have read the first book. The characters are well defined and have good background.

What other book might you compare Stark's Command to and why?

The book that I would compare Stark's Command is Swarm by B. Larson that is based on fast paced military thoughts in space.

    Any additional comments?

Can't wait to finish the third book.
