Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has survived the Hunger Games twice. But now that she's made it out of the bloody arena live, she's still not safe. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge....

    Story

After listening to the first 2 books I had high expectations that the trilogy would end with a bang. I was pretty disappointed to say the least. Collins created too many characters that were never really developed and left too many questions unanswered. You never really get to know what drives these people to do the things they do. There's this tendency for the plot lines to build up to these rising crescendo only to "peeta" out.

The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not. Within the black-and-white striped canvas tents is an utterly unique experience full of breathtaking amazements. It is called Le Cirque des RĂªves, and it is only open at night.

Straight scoop: 95% of the book is about describing all the "wonderful" tents in the circus which only leaves 5% dedicated to an actual story and that story itself is long and dragged out.
