This is the compelling story of U.S. Air Force Major Joe Mack, a man born out of time. When his experimental aircraft is forced down in Russia and he escapes a Soviet prison camp, he must call upon the ancient skills of his Indian forebears to survive the vast Siberian wilderness. Only one route lies open to Mack: the path of his ancestors, overland to the Bering Strait and across the sea to America. But in pursuit is a legendary tracker....

What did you love best about Last of the Breed?

The story is one of my favorites so I picked it for my first audible book and I wasn't disappointed, I heard more of the story this way instead of reading because you don't skip over anything. Narrator excellent smooth voice with different tones and accents for characters.

Have you listened to any of David Strathairn’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

    No this was the first

At 45, Rosalind Harper is a woman whose experiences have made her strong enough to bend without breaking - and weather any storm. A widow with three grown sons, she survived a disastrous second marriage, and built her In the Garden nursery from the ground up. But now her future is under attack.

As always great story by Nora Roberts, I read the series several years ago and totally enjoyed revisiting it through this medium. The performance was good, only thing I would say is some of the voices the reader used was hard to distinguish characters. This was very slight and really does not detract from the overall performance.

Trying to escape the ghosts of the past, young widow Stella Rothchild, along with her two energetic little boys, has moved back to her roots in southern Tennessee - and into her new life at Harper House and In the Garden nursery. She isn't intimidated by the house - nor its mistress, local legend Roz Harper.

Was a good story line and the production was well done, the voices the reader used fit the characters well.
