Is it possible that there exists an ancient mystery that holds the secret of America's future? That this mystery lies behind everything from 9/11 to the collapse of the global economy? That ancient harbingers of judgment are now manifesting in America? That God is sending America a prophetic message of what is yet to come? Before its end as a nation, there appeared in ancient Israel nine specific warnings and omens of national destruction - these same Nine Harbingers are now manifesting in America with profound ramifications.

Victoria McQueen has an uncanny knack for finding things: a misplaced bracelet, a missing photograph, answers to unanswerable questions. When she rides her bicycle over the rickety old covered bridge in the woods near her house, she always emerges in the places she needs to be. Vic doesn't tell anyone about her unusual ability, because she knows no one will believe her. She has trouble understanding it herself.

Would you consider the audio edition of NOS4A2 to be better than the print version?

The narration is spot on. I didn't read the print version so I can't say which one is better, but I loved listening to the audio version.

What does Kate Mulgrew bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I though the narration of the audio book was spot on. Kate Mulgrew does a outstanding job of keeping the listener intrigued and wanting more.

    Any additional comments?

This is the first Joe Hill novel that I've listened to. After this listen, I can't wait to hear more of his novels.

The year is 2008 and Samantha Kofer's career at a huge Wall Street law firm is on the fast track - until the recession hits and she gets downsized, furloughed, escorted out of the building. Samantha, though, is one of the "lucky" associates. She's offered an opportunity to work at a legal aid clinic for one year without pay, after which there would be a slim chance that she'd get her old job back. In a matter of days Samantha moves from Manhattan to Brady, Virginia, population 2,200, in the heart of Appalachia, a part of the world she has only read about.

What disappointed you about Gray Mountain?

I hate writing how disappointed I was with this listen. Grisham should have read this one before he published it. Catherine Taber sounds more like she should be reading some sparkly vampire stuff.

This is the story of Michael Talbot, his family, and his friends: a band of ordinary people trying to get by in extraordinary times. When disaster strikes, Mike, a self-proclaimed survivalist, does his best to ensure the safety and security of those he cares for. Book one of the Zombie Fallout Trilogy follows our lead character at his self-deprecating, sarcastic best. What he encounters along the way leads him down a long dark road, always skirting the edge of insanity.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, this book was well written with nicely developed characters. I liked the baracading in the townhome complex.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Zombie Fallout?

The piling of bodies as the dead piled up outside the walls to the community.

What about Sean Runnette’s performance did you like?

Sean Runnette could have definitely done a better job narrating. I really got tired of the same old voice for every character.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Odyssey to be better than the print version?

Ian McKellen does a wonderful job narrating this masterpiece. Not sure if I would go as far as saying it is better then the print form, but for the busy guy that doesn't have the time to sit down and read, it does well.

What did you like best about this story?

Homer at his best. The epic journey home of the hero after twenty years lost in the world.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, definitely need to listen to this in multiple attepts.

In his number-one New York Times best seller Crimes against Liberty, David Limbaugh penned a damning indictment of President Barack Obama’s misrule during his first two years in office. In this blockbuster book, Limbaugh sets his sights on the remainder of Obama’s presidency, revealing the president’s latest crimes against liberty. Controversial, compelling, and original, The Great Destroyer picks up where Crimes against Liberty left off. It is Limbaugh’s most powerful book yet.
