I read this book because one of my friends strongly recommended it. In a nutshell, Frankl tells us that man can endure tremendous pain and suffering if he can identify a purpose for living. The story goes on and on and on. There are some good illustrations but it could be boiled down to 25 pages. I was expecting a life changing volume ..... I got a heroic story of survival that lost momentum with its abundance of words. Find an executive summary of this and pick it up..... the unabridged version is too much.
Diligence may be number one but Networking is critical to success. Mackay doesn't offer gimmicks - he offers solid, practical, and sincere advice. He provides a number of personal illustrations that drive home his recommendations. Highly recommended - easy to listen to - absolutely worth the money.
