This is one of the best books in the series. But, only because it is a bit more realistic than the others. Ollie doesn't spend a lot of time stepping on the toes of the secret service. She had her own problems to deal with in her department. I'm sure the next book will have her back in the middle of things but I did enjoy this one.
This book was a mistake. The characters were one dimensional and uninteresting. I wasn't able to get into it.
This reminded me of General Hospital. Several characters from different walks of life all entangled in a medical drama. The plot is entertaining and filled with twists and turns just like daytime soaps. The plot is advanced by introducing a new chapter. Almost like the abrupt scene changes on a soap. All in all it was a good story and I might read the next in this series.
This was a pretty good book. The characters and setting were enjoyable and the ending was very realistic ( I'm not sure if that is a plus or minus). Overall this was an enjoyable book. I felt like the lead character missed a lot of clues before a light bulb finally come on in her brain. I will buy the next book in this series.
This book restored my faith in the series. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will get the next book.
This is the first book in the Passport to Peril Mysteries. Emily Andrew is on vacation with her grandmother in Switzerland. Everything that can go wrong does and Emily faces each problem head on. The story is entertaining and fun. I will buy the next in the series.
My main issue with this book is that it is extremely slow. The characters and plot are interesting but it should have ended sooner.
I enjoyed Balzo's Maggie Thornson Mysteries and it looks like I will enjoy this series as well. The characters are smart, funny, realistic and engaging. The plot was interesting and flowed at a natural pace. I hope the next book will be available soon.
This is one of the best series of mysteries that I have experienced. Maruerite Gaven is one of the best narrators if the best. She brought all of the characters to life and gave them voices suited to their personalities. Liam, Wy and the supporting characters are rich realistic well developed characters. I'm going to miss them and I wish there waere books to continue their story. If I could give them 10 stars I would.
This is a very good story but I don't think I will read anymore in this series. It is always Kate to the rescue. The men in this series seem weak and lazy. As strong and intelligent as Kate is, she seems to be a weak idiot when it comes to the lead male character Jack Morgan. She gives in to him in more ways than one. Kate calls everyone to the carpet and lives her life by her own rules but as a strong female character I find her lacking. Like I said. The story is good. The plot is full of well developed characters. I love the dog Mutt. Ever since I started reading these books I have been wondering if I can move to Alaska and become a wilderness woman.
Dane Stabenow gets a gold star for the latest addition of the Liam Campbell series. This story is the best yet. The characters are well developed and plot is fast paced and very entertaining. Stabenow showed her writing chops in this one. I plan to buy and start the next book today.
