I enjoyed listening to "Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs" so much that I went on to purchase the rest of the audiobooks in this series. I love the charaters, and Jane is just great fun.
I don't write a lot of reviews, but felt like I needed to even out the ones that I read because I purchased this book based them, and was pretty disappointed. Although, I liked the setting, and it was fun to hear about places that I had visited in Scotland, I found the book to be depressing, and sometimes hard to follow not knowing whether the heroine was talking on thinking comments to herself. I did like the hero and the secondary characters, but it's not a go back and listen again kind of book. The performance was good.
I loved this book. The author really did a good job with Ian's character. He and Beth were great together. I would love to read more about them in the sequels. I thought that the performance was very good.
I really liked A Discovery of Witches. The story is innovative, and very interesting. The narrator really did the voices well, and made me feel like I knew these characters. I will continue to read books by Deborah Harkness.
I loved the first Deborah Harkness, and was really happy with the second in the series. It took me a little time to get into this one with the timeline change and new characters, but once I did, I didn't want to put it down. The narrator does a great job with all of the voices. I can't wait for the third book!
I love Molly Harper books, especially on audio, but this one was not my favorite. Although, the narration was wonderful as it always with her books, the story was a bit stressful to me. It did have the same sassy female lead character, and fun male "hero", but I didn't find myself laughing out loud as I usually do with Molly Harper books. That being said, I am glad that I read it, and will keep coming back for more Molly Harper.
I really love Molly Harper books on audio. They are always fun and make me laugh out loud, and this one was no exception. The narrator is wonderful!
I really liked this book as with the others in the series. It was just a fun book to listen to. The story and the performance were very good.
This was a great follow-up to "How To Flirt With A Naked Werewolf". It was fun and romantic, and kept me very entertained throughout.
Best Audio Read!
