Business, nonprofit, and public sector leaders are facing new and daunting challenges - rapid-paced developments in technology, sudden shifts in the marketplace, and crisis and contention in the public arena. If they are to survive in this chaotic environment, leaders must develop the skills they need to lead effectively no matter how fast the world around them is changing.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Personally the audio made too much use of reference to the book e.g. as shown in diagram x, and also too much reference to theory. This overuse of these two items made it hard to get a flow for the topics being discussed.

Has Leading in a Culture of Change turned you off from other books in this genre?

No. I've bought and thoroughly enjoyed others in this genre, and as a leadership development practitioner I know what I'm looking for.

How could the performance have been better?

Less reference to diagrams in the book. More on real-world implementation and a different reading energy level.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

    To return it.

    Any additional comments?

    No.

Where does Amaze Yourself rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

In terms of content, I rank this among the top 5 among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I would make the introduction shorter in order to get to the main concepts quicker.

Would you be willing to try another one of Arika Escalona Rapson’s performances?

I didn't particularly enjoy the reading. It didn't feel right and was too high pitched for me. It often felt like sentences were a mix between a statement and a question (although you know that a statement was being made.

What did you learn from Amaze Yourself that you would use in your daily life?

An interesting definition of success and how to approach becoming successful by increasing focus and learning to eliminate daily actions that do not lead you closer to becoming the successful person you want to become.

    Any additional comments?

The content is great. I like the body of work so much that I am going to purchase the book version so I can write notes in it.
