Serge A. Storms is back! The one-man crime spree hits no speed bumps as he swings through Tampa, Disney World, and parts south before settling down in Miami Beach to team up with a former sidekick and launch his long-overdue offbeat travel service. It's a labor of love as Serge forces customers to confront the underbelly of the Sunshine State's past and present. Some clients get it; others run for their lives. No matter.

    "Rollicking read"
    Overall

No, it isn't 'Literature', but it's a darn good read. If you enjoy books by Carl Hiassen, Richard Brautigan, or Douglas Adams, you'll like Tim Dorsey's books, too. Improbable characters in unbelievable situations, and it all comes together at the end like a fine paella.

Serge is back with a bullet, torn between homicide and souvenirs. So is Coleman, torn between getting hammered and getting more hammered. Then there's good ol' Jim Davenport, the E-Team, the Diaz Brothers, and Johnny Vegas, the Accidental Virgin, cranking up the fevered action as the pot boils over on a street called Lobster Lane.

    Jose says: "Serge rules!"
    "More rollicking fun with Serge"
    Overall

The adventures of Serge, with his ADD/OCD and borderline psychopathic tendencies, have us driving around Florida again. These books make me want to rent a rent a car and follow his route. A great bit of escapism and a quick read.

An editor and literary critic becomes obsessed with the life and work of poet Jeffrey Aspern, who long ago died at a Romantic and tragic young age. Now, the editor pursues the only living person to have known Aspern - the 80-year-old Juliana Bordereau. But more than memories of Aspern, Juliana has secreted away papers belonging to the poet - papers she would rather see burned than passed on to future generations.

    "Poor sound quality"
    Overall

This recording is only available in formats 1 or 2. I downloaded the format 2 version and found the sound quality so poor I could not even complete the book. I usually download format 3 for my MuVo, so I was very surprised by the difference one level made.
