It didn't measure up to the first book. Yes, I did enjoy the book but I expected more.
Yes I could see this made into a movie but it never will be unless his next books to this series is better then this one.
Its a good listen. To me it was barley worth the credit, but it was worth the credit. I hated that he is so obsessed with his demon lady. I mean come on she is a demon and he is a angel. You know that he's going through all kinds of hell and she will probably just screw him over cause its in her nature. I loved the first book. This book not so much.
Great listen. Scalzi is awesome. I loved this book. Its funny and exciting. You won't be disappointed.
Luke Daniels is currently my favorite Narrator. He is easy to listen to and always does a awesome job. He's really good at voices.
This is Book 2 of Terms of Enlistment. If you enjoyed book 1 you will enjoy this one as well. I'm usually not into space adventure books,"NOT A STAR WARS FAN" but, I really enjoy this series and really want Marko the author to hurry up and put out another book to the series.
All that needs to be said is it is defiantly worth the credit and that you will LOVE this book. The only regret I have, is I wish I would of waited until there were more books to the series out. I can't wait till the next book.
I love the narrator. I have listened to numerous books he has narrated and he never disappoints. The story is about a young man that lives on earth and the planet is defiantly not the world we know it to be. Well, the young man enlist in the military hoping to get into the navy and get off the destructive planet. This book takes off a little slow but by the end of it you will defiantly want more.
Wow. I've been waiting for a book like this. I honestly listened to this all the way through with out stop. I really didn't think I would like it with all the witches, ware wolfs, druids, etc. But boy was I wrong. So entertaining. If your reading this you HAVE TO LISTEN to this book. your welcome
yes, cause it was entertaining.
Not at all what I thought. It usually never is when it comes to Scalzi. It was very entertaining and just a over-all great story.
This book was amazing and had me wanting MORE. It really had the potential to be one of the greatest. But towards the end it gets way bazaar and totally ruined it. It was still a awesome book with a great narrator, but dang it could of been awesome.
Thank you Ernest Cline and Will Wheaton. I haven't picked up a book in over a decade and when I did its only because I had to because of some school requirements. But, a co-worker recommended that I listen to this book and it changed my life. It opened up a whole new world for me. This book was magical for me. Since listening to this book a year ago. I have just finished listening to my 21st book. Thats right the guy who hated to read and had not picked up a book in over 10 years listened to and read 21 books in one year. Its all because this was my first Audible book. If I would of listen to any other book first. I would not be sitten here writing this. It's like a high that I keep chasing. I keep listening to books trying to get the feeling that this one gave me. So, take my advice. If you grew up in the 80's its a must read. YOUR WELCOME
I don't know why I got this book but I'm glad I did. I never got a book with a women narrator but she nailed it. I'm not really into the zombie books but this one is different, you will see. Plus I'm from Texas and I only live a hour from Louisiana. So the southern accent the narrator has made it comforting and easy to listen to.
