Why did Nureyev did things, what motivated him , how did he trained, what make him struggle? I don't know ...
There are multiple narrators, everyone is fine , but one woman who has a childish voice that gets on my nerves, make me want to stop listening,
The subject is interesting but it is just a narration
A very personal story, very sad to see the unending optimism of the young son of Bryce finnaly defeated by aids , I won't listen to this again , Mr Bower as always does a fantastic narration
good dan brown
the moments at the boat near the end
no , and I did not really liked him
narrator makes unnerving noises , not noticeable if you are doing something else, like running or driving, annoying if your are only listening to the book
Get a car, a place to sleep and eat, repeat
in the mean time talk about the weather
it's like listening to a pleasant old lady in the neighborhood complain about some nuisances ...
hmm ... well since I can hear it anywhere , yes perhaps, but the book is great for a vacation !
sure! it is multiple plots that converge to the end , quite entertaining
perhaps the rescue in the amusement park
hmm, can't recall laughing, maybe yes, cry certainly not
enjoyable , entertaining , interesting, well narrated
after outliers this was dissapointing , it never seems to get to the level of the former
an abridged version with a decent narrator ... sure
he seems to run out of breath and the uneven rhythm is annoying, like someone learning to drive a stick shift
what ? no!
not very dynamic
I bought after reading a review of outlander where someone recommended this as a good time travel novel, Doomsday have many boring parts specially in the present for the first half of the book, the past always interesting, it is hard to tell the voices apart. I work in a large corporation the history in the present made me feel right back at work trying to get approvals from an accountant - not pleasant.
I do not know how many books I have read and heard from Clancy, same great thing, very entertaining !
a repeat of the story where one character (male or female) with lots of money , gets together with another character (opposite sex to the first) with no money but very intelligent, mixed with a romance where the male character stands for a lot of bad treatment from the female
humprey bower's performance saves the book even if it is a repeat
if you have the persimon tree don't buy this, the persimon tree is better maybe because I heard it first
