This series of books, although focus at children, is a fun listen for even adults, although the stories are very short at an average of 6 hours per book.

Why we think it’s a great listen: Seabiscuit was a runaway success, and Hillenbrand’s done it again with another true-life account about beating unbelievable odds. On a May afternoon in 1943, an Army Air Forces bomber crashed into the Pacific Ocean and disappeared, leaving only a spray of debris and a slick of oil, gasoline, and blood. Then, on the ocean surface, a face appeared.....

Anastasia Burke says: "Hillenbrand could make even laundry fascinating!"

If you know nothing about this book, you will be fascinated with the main character by the end of this book. The author is an amazing story teller, and the story is an amazing one to be told.

I found my-self wanting to learn so much more... Can't wait to see the movie, which must undoubtedly come.

    Story

After our heroes escapes the hunger games, life is not what they would have expected. A surprising turn of events puts them at odds with the Capitol and the other districts.

This book will draw you in. It will leave you holding tightly to your seat wondering what could possibly happen next and it will exhaust you by the end.

I highly recommend this book. Even if you've only seen the movie and don't like to read a book after watching a movie because of how differing the story lines can be, this book won't leave you wondering about anything. You can easily transition from the movie to this book.

I loved the storyline however the ending was so underwhelming. I was left very disappointed in the end with the way the author chose to direct this storyline.

If you've read the first two books then this is a must read.
If you haven't read the first two books, go back and read them first.

It is a great storyline. The reader does a fabulous job. Just understand that you may be disappointed in the end. I like to just forget about the end then it's fine.

Based on more than 40 interviews with Jobs conducted over two years—as well as interviews with more than a hundred family members, friends, adversaries, competitors, and colleagues—Walter Isaacson has written a riveting story of the roller-coaster life and searingly intense personality of a creative entrepreneur whose passion for perfection and ferocious drive revolutionized six industries: personal computers, animated movies, music, phones, tablet computing, and digital publishing.

This book was an unexpected entertaining experience. I expected to hear about the technical aspects of Steve Jobs' career but, found that I was drawn in to the story of this man's life. I learned about not only the business man but, also the personal life of this great visionary.

From Steve's wrestles childhood to his industry crushing adult years, Steve never stopped causing trouble. I laughed and felt the pains of Steve Jobs' life as I listened to the hi jinx filled moments of his childhood on through his career from Apple Computers, to Next, then Pixar and eventual back to Apple. He never stopped reinventing his role in society and business.

    This is a must listen.

Long ago, the wars of the ancient Evil had ruined the world and forced mankind to compete with many other races - gnomes, trolls, dwarfs and elves. Half-elfin Shea Ohmsford learns that the supposedly dead Warlock Lord was plotting to destroy the world and the sole weapon against this Power of Darkness was The Sword of Shannara, which could only be used by a true heir of Shannara.

I read these books back in school, and when I saw them here, it was a must have. I listened to them recently, and it's a bit lord or the rings like, but still very original, with a few whimsical twists
