Thomas Hardy, never one to be conventional, took a very unconventional moral stance in this novel, which shocked readers of the time. In doing so, he created one of the great romantic novels of all time, the story of a striking and tragic heroine who came to life for the reader as she did for the author.

On the heels of her New York Times best-selling book Drinking and Tweeting, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville takes readers on a wild ride through her dating life in this highly entertaining relationship book. Drinking and Dating chronicles Glanville’s misadventures stumbling through today’s dating world. From social media blunders to bedroom escapades, Brandi withholds nothing. Each chapter is inspired by a relationship encounter she has had since her sensational divorce from actor Eddie Cibrian.

Where does Drinking and Dating rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I really liked it, but it would be somewhere in the middle area. Brandi's narration is slightly hard to understand at times because she doesn't speak all her words clearly sometimes, but the story is good. I also didn't like all the "hashtag" mentions.

What aspect of Brandi Glanville’s performance would you have changed?

She needs to enunciate her words more clearly sometimes. It wasn't always a problem, but I did find myself replaying parts because I didn't catch what she said.

    Any additional comments?

I would like to see her 1st book available on Audible!

What other book might you compare Many Lives, Many Masters to and why?

I haven't read anything like this before

    Which scene was your favorite?

    The regressions were amazing

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

    YES!

    Any additional comments?

I only rated this a 3 star overall because it is far too abridged. I didn't realize it was only an hour and a half when I purchased it and I was sadly disappointed. I would love an unabridged version!

Through Jim Burden's endearing, smitten voice, we revisit the remarkable vicissitudes of immigrant life in the Nebraska heartland, with all its insistent bonds. Guiding the way are some of literature's most beguiling characters: the Russian brothers plagued by memories of a fateful sleigh ride, Antonia's desperately homesick father and self-indulgent mother, and the coy Lena Lingard. Holding the pastoral society's heart, of course, is the bewitching, free-spirited Antonia.
