Generations of werewolves have been secretly residing in a secluded valley a stone’s throw from Grundy, Alaska. So when a snooping Outsider comes to Grundy to investigate rumours of lycanthropic shenanigans in the area, the valleys pack alpha, Maggie Graham, resolves to chase him away, even if doing so takes a quick bite on the butt. What a pity that researcher Nick Thatcher turns out to be so drool-worthy, and that his kisses make Maggie want to sit up and beg.

I recently finished listening to 'How to Flirt With a Naked Werewolf" so purchasing 'How to Flirt With a Naked Werewolf' was a given. The second instalment was just as much fun as the first. This is real holiday listening, all entertainment and fun with no brain power required. Amanda Ronconi's narration is a perfect fit for Molly Harper's witty writing style. I've already added everything else available by this pairing to my wishlist and look forward to many more hours of light entertainment.

Hitching rides is an unreliable mode of transport, but Jack Reacher's adrift in the fearsome heat of a Texas summer, and the last thing he's worried about is exactly who picks him up. He never expected it to be someone like Carmen. She's alone, driving a Cadillac. She's beautiful, young, and rich. She has a little girl who is being watched by unseen observers. And a husband who is in jail. Reacher is no stranger to trouble. And at Carmen's remote ranch in Echo County there is plenty of it.

What made the experience of listening to Echo Burning the most enjoyable?

Although I only listened to Echo Burning in 20 minutes snippets it kept me looking forward to getting back into the car for my drive to and from work. Happily the 30 second rewind was usually all I needed to get back into the action.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Although I have faith in Jack Reacher's judgement there were times that I also doubted whether his faith was justified. The story was well paced and kept me wondering.

Have you listened to any of Jeff Harding’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have only ever read Jack Reacher books in the past but, found this to be a very pleasurable and indulgent way to while away the time and will definitely download and listen to another Lee Child novel. Jeff Harding made a very believable Reacher.
