Really miss Carolyn McCormick. Hope she is back for future books. Didn't realize how much her narration made the story and characters come alive.
Yes, their Murder Club books are great.
The narrator was not the problem with this book. It was the book itself.
Don't think that any one character was the problem; it was how the entire book was put together.
I was stunned that this book was so bad when the Murder Club books have been so very good.
Not much to be happy about... underlining sadness throughout
Concentrated on the negative most often
Yes, think he is very good
Think you have to give these guys a little room to get another series started... wasn't all that bad just not a super fun read as their other books are...
One of Robb's best ever.. excellent narration by S Erickson.... you will not be disappointed if you are a fan of this series.
Does not even come close to Jean Auel's classic, Clan of the Cave Bear. Terrible comparison... I bought it and would give it back if it was possible!
Long, laborious and boring. It is not about the people of the Bear Mother; it is about one person going thru primitive rights.
It is very hard to believe this book is an audible.com selection. Have never heard a more boring shallow book and I have an audible library of more than 600 books!
Thoroughly enjoyed this one...also thought Peter Giles did an excellent job narrating it. Hope, as others have said, there are more to come.
Thought the story was pretty good; but did not care for the reader at all. Very loud inhale sounds all the way through the story making it sound like the reader was always short of breath.
Another excellent work by Connolly
The story was tedious at times and the reader had to be chewing gum... really very irritating
