Pastry chef Tess Crawford thought moving from Chicago to quiet Silver Springs, Arizona would simplify her life. That was before she found the body of a woman with whom she had traded heated words the previous night, left her fingerprints on the murder weapon, and came under attack for trying to clear her name.

Negotiations underway with a narrator. No auditions accepted at this time. The gigantic cake for the new city rec center opening is going to be great advertising for Tess Crawford's new bakery, until she finds the city councilman who oversaw the project dead.

Kelli Carpenter has changed her name, her appearance-her life-to avoid being connected to a crime she committed in self defense years ago. But just when she thinks she has nothing to fear, handsome stranger Blake Windsor shows up.

Would you consider the audio edition of What's in a Name? to be better than the print version?

Yes, you can hear the uncertainty and fear in the main character's false bravado, and the chapters from both Kelli and Blake's point of view are differentiated just enough to recognize. Narration was easy to listen to and not overly-dramatic.

Who was your favorite character and why?

    Blake! What a hunk!

Which character – as performed by Pamela Almand and The Captain's Voice – was your favorite?

Kelli came thru as both vulnerable and strong....the fear and suspicion slowly evolved into trust and love.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Blake and Kelli in Blake's childhood home

    Any additional comments?

Each character's personality came through and and each changed over the course of the book.
