This has been one of my favorite audiobooks. I was actually sad when it ended.
I teach criminal justice courses. I have been on the look-out for a good book about federal prison and/or female prison experiences. I really liked the format of this book. I plan on making this required reading for my prison course in the future. The audiobook is not like the Netflix version of the story. If you are interested in prison issues, give it a shot. It is worth it.
We really enjoyed this audiobook. We listened to it on a cross country trip. The stories were ones that made us laugh and a couple that made us a bit sad.
The main character. His story about his nickname, how he got the truck stuck, and other exploits were great!
The narrator was amazing! The expressions and tones helped to really add elements of excitement to the audiobook.
This audio book is a compilation of various events encountered/participated in by the author while living in Africa. We laughed at some of the stories. We were sad at others.
I would. It was enjoyable and funny.
Who was my favorite character? huh? LOL. I love Tina Fey. She really endeared herself to me.
I enjoyed hearing her expressions and tones as she read. I feel like I got more out of it.
We listened to this on a cross-country trip. It was a huge hit. I laughed and found myself identifying with her (except I am not an actress, etc). We really enjoyed it
