I really hadn't noticed I had gotten a western, but so happy I did. As a kid I watched every western they had back in the early TV days with my dad. It wasn't that long ago I was wondering what ever happened to a good western? I am almost finished with this one and have put the rest of this series in my wish list. Happy Trails :)

Reviews warn you that it's graphic, trust me when I say "It is very graphic", at times hard to listen too. But like a car wreck it's hard to turn away, I have to get to the end! Pablo does an excellent job narrating.

Second book delivers!! I do have to admit there are a story line that was a little hard to believe, but just as in life, stranger things have happened. Moon Pie is as bad as they come, truly evil, but Jeremy Arthur makes him sound very sexy, all the while I am hoping he gets his due.

Thank you Audible for putting this one on the Daily Deal, I don't think I would have gotten it otherwise. If you don't know this author and narrator combination you are in for a real treat. Defined characters make the story easy to follow while Jeremy Arthur does a fantastic job bringing them to life. I am happy add this as one of my favorites. ENJOY!

This book is geared to the same fan base as "Gray". Found this to be very immature. Story line contradicts previous portions of the story and over all boring. Kate Simses did a good job of keeping the breathy 'oh-mys' and tension of sex throughout. I made the mistake of getting the entire series, I don't think I'll waste my listening time with the other 2.

The narrator was my first "yuk", she sounded like she was 12 years old, "Oh my!" The story was less than interesting, how old is the author, 12 too? This was given to me as a gift, in CD format. So I wasted a credit to read this, Very disappointing and no, I will not listen to the other 2 in this series, don't care how it ends. I am just happy I got through this one so I wouldn't disappoint my friend.

This was a good paced book, just enough turns and twists without having to think too much. Peter Giles, narrator, kept the pace even and easy to keep track of the characters. I liked this narrator better than the one used in The Poet.

Where does Odd Hours rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Story line was a little weak. But if you like words, Mr. Koontz out did himself with this one. This to me read like he had to use his big vocabulary or bust :)

What does David Aaron Baker bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

David kept the characters easy to follow.

Dubbed the American Tolkien by Time magazine, George R. R. Martin has earned international acclaim for his monumental cycle of epic fantasy. Would you listen to A Dance with Dragons again? Why?

I have read some rather scathing comments about Mr. Dotrice reading of this book, compared to the previous books. I for one have listened to all 5 one right after the other, and have found the story is so well written and the story telling so well done, that minor deviations in characters, just didn't matter. Enjoy the experience! It's a fun ride.

Which character – as performed by Roy Dotrice – was your favorite?

    Tyrion Lannister

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

    Oh yes!

Now in the Seven Kingdoms, as the human crows assemble over a banquet of ashes, daring new plots and dangerous new alliances are formed, while surprising faces, some familiar, others only just appearing, are seen emerging from an ominous twilight of past struggles and chaos to take up the challenges ahead.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

No, I couldn't recommend this book to friends, I'm not sure they would care for book 4. The story is hard enough to follow, but the different voice makes it even harder. I am on part 2 of this book and am just now sorting out all the names and people.

Did John Lee do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Sorry I have to agree with most comments I've seen, it's just not the same. I hope to hear John Lee read something else.
