This is a short story but it was very good. It took me about 35 to 45 minutes to listen to the audio. A very enjoyable story. Bronson Black is Dogboy, a 13 year old super hero of Colta City. He's set out to find a killer after seeing local business man Dexter Stonehouse gunned down on Liberty Pier.
The narrator did an excellent job at capturing the voices of each character. He made it very enjoyable to listen to. I found the story to flow smoothly but fast paced. I loved how Nathan Beatty was able to distinguish the characters voices and made them all unique and different.
This is the first thing that I've ever read/listened to by Bill Meeks and I wasn't disappointed. This story was a wonderful short story. The story is meant for teens but it's still an excellent story for adults as well. It's filled with adventure, mystery, and intrigue. I can't wait for the next installment by Bill. I only wish they were longer, at least six to eight hours long. I highly recommend that you give this story a try. I'll think you'll enjoy it as much as I have.
Wow...this is one amazing story. Author Audra Trosper or A.D. Trosper has written one magical story. I love dragons and this story is unlike any story of dragons that I've listened to before. Audra is extremely gifted and her talent shows throughout the story. She has created a world unlike anything I've listened to before. I would love to visit Galdrilene but listening to the story is as if I was there seeing it all. Audra has written an enchanting story, filled with magic, dragons, and so much more. Another thing that I love is the book cover. In all honesty there's nothing about this story that I didn't love and enjoy. I really like how The author gives POVs from almost all the characters, and I think that's brilliant that she wrote it like that. The author took her time with creating this magical adventure. This story is written to pure perfection. She gave this story so much detail to everything but not so much that it bores you to sleep. I couldn't stop listening until it was over and I had already started downloading the second book Tears of War.
The narrator Valerie Gilbert did a wonderful job with her performance of this story. Valerie brings the story to life, all the characters, and details that are in this story. She kept me captivated and immersed in the story before the first chapter ended. I love her take in the accents that she gives to all the characters, even the dragons. She did a perfect job and listening to her was like I was living the story. Her narration of this stostory shows how gifted Valerie Gilbert truly is. I can't wait to listen to the last story Ashes is made available and listen to Valerie bring the last story to life again for the last book. A great purchase!
I have listened to other stories about Runes but this one was different than any other that I've listened to. I don't like going in to details because it gives the story away. I thought the author Mark E. Cooper did a wonderful job with creating this story. I felt everything was written perfectly. I loved how he chose to create a world that is unknown and a world that is. Even in the real world I felt like something's seemed to be in the future, like the Webb as they called it.
The narrator Mikael Naramore was new to me. I haven't listened to anything this narrator had done before now. I felt like his performance of Rune Gate was wonderful. He kept my interest throughout the story and that's always a plus. His accents for each character was exceptional and he did an amazing job. I'm very eager to listen to more stories that this narrator has done. I really enjoyed it and I highly recommend you get this story and the second one, Chosen as soon as possible. I think you'll love it as much as I have.
It had been sometime since I had listened to the first book 100 Days in Deadland so I went back and listened to it before starting Deadland's Harvest and I'm happy that I did. It refreshed my mind and everything about the first story.
Author Rachel Aukes has written another great story about zombies. Rachel has done it again, completely left me intrigued, immersed, and on the edge of my seat throughout the entire story. She also pulled at my heart so many times. The first book was really good yet Deadland's Harvest is even better. Rachel doesn't disappoint with this story. I really enjoyed the authors take on zombies and the creative world she has written. I loved being back in the world with Cash, Jace, and Clutch. Rachel doesn't disappoint on her second installment Deadland and the story is filled with action throughout the entire story. The author even uses the seven deadly sins, the third and ffinal book promises to explore the seven virtues. But, the use of the seven deadly sins doesn't interfere with what the author has written and it doesn't hurt the story at all. I found that it sparked my interest.
Hollie Jackson's performance of Deadland's Harvest is great! I've listened to many books that Hollie has narrated and I've enjoyed them all but I love her skills and the work she's done for the two audios by Rachel Aukes. Hollie brings life into each each character. Hollie keeps you on the edge of your seat as you listen and brings the story to life, making everything feel so real. I highly, highly recommend you get both audiobooks, 100 Days on Deadland and Deadland's Harvest and listen to them in order. I guarantee you won't regret the purchase.
I listened to this story atleast 3 times along with the second story and I enjoyed them every time. I love Monique James writing style. She captivated me from the start with this story. She has a way of describing everything so well that it makes you feel as If you're there. As I listened to this story sounds, smells, and sights jumped out at me. I think this is such a wonderful story and it should be more known to people. This story really grabs and touches your heart. She truly is a remarkable, gifted, and extremely talented writer. I'm sorry that I won't be including details about this story or others she's written. I can just let you know that once you listen to this story or others she's written you'll be blown away. When I mention she's gifted, I'm not lying. She's extraordinarily gifted and her stories touch you and you'll remember them forever.
I've never listened to anything that Julie Moss has narrated until this story but she's very talented herself. The way she captivates you with the characters and gives them all accents that are so perfect you know exactly who's speaking. I found myself immersed in this story as Sophie worked her magic keeping me captivated and glued to this story. I bonded with the characters and it took my breath away as I listened. I couldn't wait to listen to the second story Magia Rising and I jumped right into it as soon as Jamais Vu ended. These are two stories that you'll remember for a very long time and you'll find yourself relistening to them both over several times. The cover is also beautiful and this is one time you can judge a book by its cover. A perfect story that I know everyone who listens to it will love as much as I do.
Another great story about Bea. Olivia Samms has outdone herself with Snitch. I loved Bea in Sketchy but wow, I loved her even more in Snitch. Yes, Olivia managed to keep Bea feisty, brave, and more loveable. I think the author has written a fabulous story that seams so surreal. Olivia is extremely talented and it shows in her story. Olivia did a perfect job in choosing the narrator because Kate adds character to Samm's written story.
Bea's almost 18 but her visions haven't relented. She's a great character. She's far from perfect about things she's done. Bea's now stronger and much wiser than before. She has someone she knows she can count on and that's Sergeant Dan Daniels who's helped her in the past. She's now helping him by using this so called gift to solve a case. Daniels believes in Bea and that goes far with her. She will have to see if she will be able to help find a murderer before someone else dies.
Once again, Kate Reinders does a superb job. I think she has did a fabulous job with her take on the characters and how they should be in the story. I love her take with Bea's character. I can close my eyes and see her, every detail about her, including her attitude, and the way she talks. Kate really did a great job with distinguishing each and every chsracter. She's truly talented and I would love to listen to other stories she has narrated. I'm not sure if there will be other stories about Bea and if they'll be available on Audible but I hope there will be. I highly recommend you listen to the audio version but I don't think it's available on Audible anymore, which is truly sad. I hope the two audios, Sketchy and Snitch will be put back on Audible along with other stories from Olivia Samms.
This is more of a dark YA thriller. I ffelt like author Olivia Samms has written a very realistic story. This story is brilliantly written. I absolutely LOVE the details this story contains. The story feels real and there's things in this story that could very well be real for teens. Olivia did a wonderful job when creating the story and characters.
Beatrice Washington is 17yrs of age and also goes by the name Bea for short. Bea comes from a mixed heritage, her dad is black and her mom is Italian. The characters are flawed in ways that it seams they are perfect. Bea has a sketchy past in the sense of a recovering alcoholic and drug addict. Bea's mom makes her give urine alot to test to check and see if Bea's still clean and not using again. With Bea's newfound sobriety comes a unique and disturbing new skill. She can now see and sketch people's thoughts. These visions she sketches alarmingly come true or have happened already. The visions get stronger and she knows she has to help these girls. Personally, regardless of the rape, murder, drug abuse, and other things, I think its a story for teenagers as long as they're mature teens. I feel in ways the story is educational.
Olivia has written a realistic story that captures life, family, and what humans are really like. Sketchy is a great example of character development enriches the plot. I felt Samms did an extraordinary job with the issues of rape and drug abuse, and delivered it in a way that's neither graphic or shocking. I found this story to be brilliant and Bea is a typical teen dealing with life and this new gift she's been given.
Narrator Kate Reinders did a wonderful job. The way Olivia has written the characters it's as if Kate identified with them extraordinarily well. The way Bea speaks is exactly how I imagine her to speak. Kate really seamed to identify perfperfectly with all the characters and got them. She kept me glued to the audio and I didn't stop listening until it ended and I was ready to listen to the next story, Snitch. I highly recommend this audio but I think it might not be available on Audible anymore. If you can find it then I highly recommend you read it but the audio is so much better.
I absolutely loved Save My Soul and I couldn't wait to listen to this story. Hell's Gift is the second book in the Save My Soul series written by author K.S. Haigwood. Haigwood has written another great story. I recommend you don't skip the first book, Save My Soul, listen/read them in order. I loved everything about this story. I especially enjoyed Rhyan's POV. This is a great story and she can take this series and take it anywhere she wants. In this story you meet more characters and the author adds alot of details to this story. This story picks up right where the first One left off but the focus is mainly on Rhyan. When Kendra chooses Adam it makes Rhyan furious and he goes to heaven throwing his attitude all around. This doesn't set well with heaven so they send him straight to Hell. What Rhyan doesn't know is that his soul mate, Abigail is in Hell. But things aren't so easy because the king of Hell, Lucifer wants Abbi for himself. When Lucifer finds out he agrees if Rhyan can escape the 7 sydes of hell then he'll let Rhyan take Abbi's soul back to heaven. Wow, this story is like taking a ride on a rollercoaster, it takes major twists and turns, and a battle of souls is dragged across the Sydes of Hell.
I found that the narrator Troy Duran has a very sexy voice. He uses the right accents to distinguish every characters voice. He did a wonderful job at making this story his own, so to speak. He's very gifted and this is the first time I've heard anything Troy's narrated. He keeps the pace flowing steady and you catch yourself on the edge of your seat cheering Rhyan on. He gives this story energy and brings it to life. I'll be looking for more stories that Troy Duran has narrated. I can't wait to see where the author takes me next in the third book, Good Side of Sin. I highly recommend you check out this series. I guarantee you'll enjoy it. Remember, you have nothing to lose with Audible's policy.
I really enjoyed listening to the first book in the series, Blood Debt. Nancy Straight has written another brilliant story. I've listened to every story that She has available on Audible and I LOVE them all. Nancy is such a gifted writer, she's extremely gifted. She makes you feel as if the stories are real. I can't help but wonder why she doesn't have a publisher because her stories are worthy and deserve so much attention. I don't know because I'm not an author but I do know there's perks to having a publisher and perks to not having one. I suppose when you don't have a publisher breathing down your neck you can write a story whenever you want to.
I especially love the Touched series and this series is unlike any stories that I've ever listened to. The second story picks up right where the first one left off. I'll be honest and admit if it weren't for listening to another author's story I wouldn't have come to love mythology written in a story. I never cared about mythology until I listened to one author's book and now I love it. Of course, Nancy's take on mythology is alot different than the other story I listened to but it's a good thing. Nancy has written a very unique series about Centaurs and I love the storyline. Not many people think about Centaurs but what Nancy has written is brilliant. The Centaurs look like humans and they have rules on choosing a mate. In this story Cami learns more about her responsibilities as a Centauride. The characters, like Cami and Drake are loveable and easy to connect with. Nancy puts a great deal of detail in this story. Its a fast paced story that keeps you on the edge of your seat begging for more.
Teri Schnaubelt does a wonderful job with this story as she did in Blood Debt. She speaks clearly and does a great job with distinguishing each character. I found it easy to know exactly which character speaks throughout the story. Teri keeps the story moving. I love the way she makes the characters her own and gives them all distinct accents. I highly recommend this story and the others written by Nancy Straight. I'm sure that you'll enjoy them as much as I have.
What a magnificent story that author Ednah Walters has created. It's unlike anything I've listened to with mythology written in a story. Every detail she includes in this story has purpose. She didn't write too much detail that it bores you but enough to keep you guessing and begging to know more as soon as possible. I'm not going to give anything away as people often do, no, I can just let you know that you really should listen to this story. I guarantee that you'll enjoy it as much as I have. I hope Ednah will add more of her stories to this series soon.
Valerie Gilbert blew me away with her excellent performance of this story. I loved the accents, especially Torin's accent. She made it very easy to connect with the characters and bond with them. She really blew me away and I'd love to hear her do the other stories to this series. Yes, I've heard it through the grapevine there will be more additions added to Audible. I can't wait until that day arrives. I guess I'll have to wait to see who will narrate the others and when the other stories will be added. I highly recommend you give this audio a listen because I guarantee that you'll love it.
Andrea Heltsley has written another great story and it's a brilliant one. I was extremely fascinated with this story and very intrigued. It's a story unlike anything I've ever heard of before. The story was fabulous and I guarantee if you listen to it you'll love it as much as I did. I'm not giving any details away in my review but I will tell you that this is a story that you should definitely purchase. This story sucked me in immediately and I found myself glued to the edge of my seat as I listened. I found myself wondering what would happen next and curious to see the development of the characters. The plot was excellent and I enjoyed learning more about the characters. Listening to this story I found myself anticipating, waiting to learn more and hear what would happen next. I LOVED this story and most of the characters are loveable. Andrea Heltsley created an original, refreshing story, with dark twists at every turn.
Narrator Jessica Geffen did a wonderful job with her accents of every character. She did an outstanding job bringing the characters to life. I felt like I was there watching a movie as the story unfolded. I loved The storyline and there's many twists and turns. You never know what was coming next. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and I highly recommend this story to everyone. This was my first audio that I listened to Jessica narrate but I will be looking for more stories she's narrated.
