I'm relatively new to audio books, usually reading print and on kindle.
This is a very good audiobook, it's long, suspenseful with lots of little cliffhangers (and a few big ones). The dialogue between the main characters is often witty and that keeps the story light and easy to listen to.
The narration by Scott Brick is just awesome and i'm looking forward to listening to his other books. Since i'm new to audiobooks, i don't know if it's odd to seek out the narrator as much as the author...? :)
The two main characters being chased into the Gobi desert and their trek on foot through this desolate land.
Love it. He plays the various character voices very well, i will seek out some of his other narrations because i think his voice helps make the story in this format
Laughed out loud a couple of times :)
Zombies versus Heroes!
The combat scene when the heroes were stranded in the city.
They took on many voices and did it well enough that i was captivated.
Enjoyable story, i'm looking forward to listening to more in the series.
The two things i enjoyed the most about this Isaac Bell story is
1)the compelling characters, especially the black hat and the white hat main characters
2)the narration by Scott Brick. He sets the bar for others, i'm buying Clive Cussler stories as much for Mr.Brick's oratory skills as I am for the compelling storyline.
My favorite character was Isaac Bell, of course. The hero!
