Did not read the print version so I cant say, but I liked it quite a bit.
When they had to hitch hick to there final destination with another vamp.
I have listened to tow other performances by Amanda Ronconi and I would have to say that she is consistently good.
If my friend liked Molly Harper then I would be beating them up side the head to read or listen to this story
The part where Dick gives Jane here Christmas Gift. I still giggle when I think about it.
This was a wonderful short story and a truly enjoyable listen. The only thing that I am now chomping at the bit for the next full story and it looks like it will not be coming out till 2015. Gerrr such a tease.
That is was based around the Black Dagger Brotherhoods hometown and intermixed with the story line
I have listened to all the BDB books. This story was fun and I enjoyed it but it did not have the same spellbinding effect. I was able to walk away from the story when needed and it was not bothersome.
Good and keeping track of the voices for each character.
.... Non that spring to mind.
It took me a bit to get into this book because the subject is not one I am drawn to. However if you are a fan of music particularly classical music I think you would quite enjoy this work. It's well preformed and composed. Even I found it fascinating once I got into it. I never realized how much work and thought was put into playing just one piece of music.
This book did not spark any large emotions in me, but it did make me think about the artistic possess and made me realized that how people interact with a piece after it is completed is just as important (if not more so) than the making of that piece of art, regardless of what kind of art it is.
Cinderella becomes Godmother
I don't know of another book that I could compare it to but, I was put in mind of the movie "Ever After". Both story's put a twist on the traditional Cinderella tail, where the maiden is empowered. However this tail takes that twist much further and adds a lot more twists and turns to the point that it completely deviates from that tail for most of the story, but comes nicely back to it at the end.
She was a wonderful reader. Each character had it's own distinct voice, but it was not overly dramatized.
Oh This book was lovely! I laughed most of my way through it. I could not point to only one part of the book because that would require me picking a favorite part. This is a book that I know I will be able to come back to time and again and find enjoyable each time.
Buy this book you'll be happy you spent the credit.
Liked the story even though the reader was... Lest put it this was she made Kerrelyn Sparkes kind of bland.
I can't say what I liked best or least about this book. The reader was so bad that I could not keep track of what was going on. The sex was good, but the reader read everything like a moment of tension witch made it hard to understand and keep up with the story.
NO defiantly not, she tries to hard. Everything... is... said.... with... breathless... anticipation.
If the have read the other League books you will get a real kick out of this one. Time has past and the children of the original books are all grown and getting into trouble of there own and finding love.
This was a cute and sweet book, one of her best so far. I loved Ian and his struggle for acceptance. Here is a man willing to induing and struggle to find his one true love. Plus I listened to it around Christmas and that made it all the sweeter.
This book had the humerus quality's of the first book in the series, the laugh out loud sort of book. Most enjoyable
Yes he is consistently good.
Got the first book on sale and it was so good I had to buy all the others available right away. If you like paranormal romance you'll love this series.
If you like introspection (A LOT), then you would really get a kick out of this story. If you like Victorian style writing you will most likely enjoy this story as well. If you like things to get to the point then stay away it will drive you slowly mad.
