Prepare to step into the world of magic, mystery, and myth as Steve Mitchell reveals the truth about ancient stone monuments, crop circles, and the world of dragon lore. Linking quantum theory with UFOs, paranormal phenomena, and the wisdom of our ancestors, Mitchell answers questions that modern scientists and archeologists are loath to address.

But the text is much too weak. The narrator reminds me of someone reading a song in the late 60s/early 70s about Atlantis. A beatuiful voice but not much to say.

I've listened to this 3 times and I still can't tell you what its about. I get lost in the music and the soothing voice.

Dubbed the American Tolkien by Time magazine, George R. R. Martin has earned international acclaim for his monumental cycle of epic fantasy. Now the number-one New York Times best-selling author delivers the fifth book in his spellbinding landmark series - as both familiar faces and surprising new forces vie for a foothold in a fragmented empire.

Ryan says: "Enjoyable, but a lot of setup"
    "NOOOOOOOO!!!"
    Overall

Many of us have waited so long for this book. I am so sad over the small advances to the overall story. And, yes, I must agree I am very disappointed with Roy Dotrice's performance. Didn't he have time to go back and listen to one of his previous readings?

Most of all I am disappointed in the story itself. Some of my most favorite characters seem to be deleted from the future of the tale. I guess, on the bright side, I won't have to pay for anymore of these books, 'cos I won't be reading (listening) them.

If it was still beating. Angus MacKay has been undead for almost 500 years and it's not often something, or someone, surprises him. Until Emma Wallace. The sight of this luscious agent from the CIA's elite Stake-Out team was enough to stop Angus in his tracks. But then he discovers that she's a vampire slayer, intent on killing the "monsters" who killed her parents. And it's Angus's job to stop her.

Tiffani says: "Negative points for narrator"
    "Right Story, Wrong Narrater"
    Overall

This book really needed someone to do accents. I am completely distracted by the American woman not even trying to get the voice right. I cringe very time she reads the male lead that should be a Scot. I KNOW there are narraters who can do this. Why wasn't one used???

In which Daniel Waterhouse, fearless thinker and courageous Puritan, pursues knowledge in the company of the greatest minds of Baroque-era Europe -- in a chaotic world where reason wars with the bloody ambitions of the mighty, and where catastrophe, natural or otherwise, can alter the political landscape overnight.

Boring. Uninteresting. Dry. A waste of a good credit. Very, very, disappointing.

A witty and inventive satire of "men of science" and their thinking, as a team of scientists races to decode a mysterious message from space. "I had the feeling that I was standing at the cradle of a new mythology. A last will and testament...we as the posthumous heirs of Them...."

    Jakub says: "Excelent and entertaining"
    "Boring!"
    Overall

This book is described thus "Here is a witty and inventive satire of "men of science" and their thinking" There is nothing witty in this book. It is a long and weary drone about nothing. I wish I had one good thing to say, but I don't.
