Complex and surprising.
The scene where Fenn dicovers his armory and likens himself to a ninja:) After reading the previous series (Wonder Strange), I really love this new redeemed Fennrys.
Heather - because she seems to be one of the biggest surprises and there is serious potential in her character. Also really like how Lesley portrays her through the reading.
Can't wait till the next book in this series comes out. If Lesley will be reading that one too, I will be delighted to purchase that audiobook as well.
Every one would truly benefit from "reading" to this work. Not only is the material fascinating, but the narration by the author is captivating! I have taken one of his rules to heart, and listen to about three chapters and then listen to the same ones again. The material and the reading are so well presented that retention is easier for what may be dense information to those new to neurobiology, and neuropsychology.
Magnificent Mind at Any Age. Again great easy to grasp info on how our minds work, the different parts of our brains, how things like exercise impact our cognitive functioning.
No, even the author would, I beleive, recommend against listening to it in one sitting. Better absorbed in small chunks.
The language might have been appropriate when the book was written, but reminds me too much of a Disney movie from the 60s with it's sappy story and message.
Found it too hard to keep interest with the redundancy of the message over and over.
Yes, one that uses more realisitc and current interactions between the characters.
