This book is very erotic with plenty of steamy love scenes throughout. If you are looking for a lot of sex, this is the book for you. Not much of a love story at all if you are looking for something sweet but definitely sexy.
I have always liked Cherrie Lynn's books ever since I started listening to them. Her stories are always very hot and sexy with some humor mixed in. However, although I did like this book, it was my least favorite of the four that are listed on this site. I didn't like the story as well. It was worth the credit but usually I can't stop listening to her books until the end but this one took me a while to get through just because I wasn't as excited about listening to it as I was the others.
Captivating, sexy, and sweet
I really enjoyed the male and female narration. Overall, this was a very sweet story. It was well worth my credit.
I liked the story ok, but it wasn't my favorite. Some of the sexual terms used in the book were awful--very immature and annoying. The worst part was the main character referring to her vagina as "the cooch" all the time and as her "girly bits". It was so disturbing to hear some of the terms she used and was a little embarrasing. It was actually a little hard to finish the book because of that. Also, it ends on a cliffhanger so you will get no resolution in this book.
Rockwell Davis was great, and Ruby Jones did a good job but she did sound a little too young to be playing that part. It was sometimes hard to listen to her sounding like a 15 year old who is playing a very sexual, erotic part.
I absolutely love the Crossfire Series! Sylvia Day is amazing and you have to read all three books to really be able to appreciate the entire storyline. The second book, however, I would have to say is my least favorite of the three but it is important to read it too so that you do not miss out on anything in the story. Everything in this book is unexpected, and I love how the relationship between Gideon an Eva is developing and there are of course plenty of hot encounters between the two that do not disappoint!
Jill Redfield is an amazing narrator! She is by far my favorite narrator that I've ever listened to and does an amazing job with this story.
I loved the storyline. The hot, bad boy hero who is sexy yet sweet and caring. This is a wonderful love story. It is a bit deeper than the usual romance novels which is something I loved about this book. This book pulls at your heartstrings and will make you want to find a man like Lucas and never let him go.
Yes, but only as a purchase. I would not waste a credit on this book, however it was worth the purchase. The characters were not easy to relate to. It was not a very deep story but kept my attention. There is a twist in the story which made it interesting and some witty dialogue that kept me laughing and entertained. The sex was too few and far between but was overall a good book.
Sexy, suspensful, and emotional.
I like Alix Dale and think she does a great job! However, I like her performance in Rock Me by Cherrie Lynn better.
Definitely worth the credit!
I found this book to be just as good of a story as 50 Shades of Grey but with better sex scenes. Very hot!
Gideon Cross has his issues, which is what makes him so interesting. He is very protective, obsessive, and domineering which makes him even hotter and makes the story that much more interesting. Although his obsession with Eva seems like it would be unhealthy, it is one of the things you will love most about him.
One of the best credits ever spent, and you will want to listen to the second and third books as soon as you can!
Love the story and the dangerous, sexy leading man. Hot from the beginning! A sweet love story with steamy love scenes you just can't get enough of!
