I found myself disappointed in this book. The rest of the series I thoroughly enjoyed, but had a very difficult time trying to finish the book. This book was much more emotionally focused on Kaylee and Nash and caused a lot of frustration and irritation in me when trying to finish the book. I think too much effort was put into the chaos of their relationship which caused a lost of love for all the characters. However, I am glad I finished it because the following books were back on par.
Steven Weber does a phenomenal job at reading the book. He puts emotion and passion into the words which really bring the characters and the story alive. I am BEYOND impressed with this guy! The story itself is fantastic. Listening to it while home only has actually freaked me out at some points. Highly recommend!
The book has all the aspects to be great, but just seemed to be missing something. There were huge leaps in time, and I felt as if some of the events seemed to drag while others could have used some more time put into them.
I enjoyed the performer's voice, but at times it was difficult to distinguish what character was talking and would become a little confusing.
