She's old-money Miami. He's barefoot Coconut Grove. The only thing they had in common was the law, until they faced each other in the steamiest murder trial of the century, a case that would make sparks fly, headlines scream, and opposites attract. Surrounded by crooks, con men, and a cast of colorful characters, Steve Solomon and Vickie Lord must solve the crime before they end up in ruin, in jail, or, worse, in bed.

Combining clever conception and facetious expression, Solomon Vs Lord is Katherine Hepburn Spencer Tracy circa 21st Century. Laugh out loud funny in this-fast-paced legal thriller. There are plots and sub plots… Plenty of romance. Even a grieving widow who's been charged with murdering her wealthy husband during a kinky sexcapade. Then there is the young autistic nephew who steals the story and warms your heart.
You won’t put this one down. It is worth 2 of your book credits, it’s that good!

Dean Robillard is the Chicago Stars' hotshot quarterback. Not only does he have lightening reflexes on the field, he is also utterly gorgeous. First seen in the critically acclaimed Match Me If You Can, Dean is trying to recover (both mentally and physically) from a shoulder injury by taking a road trip. Along the way he meets Blue, a beautiful woman down on her luck, and as they spend more time together their attraction grows.

What can I say? When you have Susan Elizabeth Phillips and wonderful Anna Fields Narrating together they = Magic. You cannot go wrong with this writer and narrator. There must be ten or twelve by this pair. Great believable characters you will find you are thinking about long after the story ends .The dialog will have you laughing out loud. You will say 'how does she come up with such wittiness?' ‘I wish I could say those things… ‘
Get all of the titles. You can trust every one. you will be happy and even cry a little but the end is always a feel good one. They are worth every credit.

As far as everyone in the squad room knows, Ben Halloran is completely fresh to the streets of the 77th Division - just a soft kid from the West Side who's decided to become a cop and happened to draw the hardest neighborhood in L.A.

Rose's early life was full of tragedy. Her father disappeared one night, presumed drowned, and her twin brother died when he was only ten, on a bike that had been his cherished birthday present. No wonder she depends on her husband, Michael. He is the only certainty in her life, and provides her with love and stability. All Rose asks of Michael is complete fidelity, and when she has cause to doubt him, she devises a terrible revenge.

What a book, a super read. Not sure who to route for at times but as the story unfolds it all becomes crystal clear. Beautifully read, could not put it down. Real creepy but I'll be sure to look for books by this author in the future.

Give it a chance to develop you will not be disappointed.
