Absolutely!!! Shapeshifters, hot alpa male, gutsy female, great sex and action what more could you want.
If you like Wards BDB, Lara Adrians "Breed", Nalini Singh "Psy-changeling" or "Angels" this series is definitely for you. LOVED IT>
She does great job. reminds me of Hillary Huber or Angela Dawe great with male and female voices. Does well with paranormal romances.
Did just that with all 3 books. Can wait till next one .
Delaney was a bit of a whinner, and let everyone walk all over her. She spent a lot of time chasing after Nick , practically begging him to have sex with her.. can't tell you how many of Delaney's dialogue started with "No man ever did this for me" A n n o y I n g.
Narrator did such a poor job on Vicki that I just could not enjoy it.
Narrator was good with what she had to work with.. No chemistry or emotional lead up for main characters. just a lot of inner reflection ..a bit of sex..then more inner reflection about it from Faith who was a whiny , often timed dumb character. you just could not like her. Tyson his character was better developed In the other books in series. He was DULL I'm this one. 'DULL"
If you like paranormal romance with dragon shifter you will love this entire series. recommend
This is not my usual genre but I recently discovered Crownover's audiobooks and loved them. This one is darker but so well done I listened in one night and cant wait for the next one.
His reconnection with his brother.
No..But I thought they did an excellent job and hope they continue with this series.
If you have not read or listened to Crownover's other books..DO SO even if it is not your genre they are so well written that they are worth a try.."JET" is the first audiobook in her series.
This is one of my favorite vampire series and I sincerely hope that audible will do the whole Vampire In America series on audiblebook..
There was NOTHING about this book that I did not like..Hot alpha male/feisty strong female. Great action and secondary characters.
Odom did a great job with narration..Both male and female voices plus all the secondary charcters were easily distinguishable.
A vampire story for ADULTS....
Although Traci Odom would not have been my first choice for narration (Paula Costello, Angela Dawe or Hilary Huber would have been better) she did do a great job so I hope audile continues with the whole series and with Odom.
the story was so well written.. Roth drew me in from the first paragraph and kept me mesmorized till the last.
the dystopian world Roth created
When Al tried to apologized for almost killing Tris. Galvin narrated to emotions of the scene perfectly.
Loved the whole series and highly recommend. Galvin was perfect as narrator. If you like Galvin try Kresley Cole "Poison Princess" also a Dystopian world and Galvin is great.
As I have stated in previous reviews I only buy audios of books that I have read and really like. Reading the book kicks in my own imagination adding an element to the story that you cant get in audio format. This makes the "narration" so important in audiobooks. A bad narrator can destroy a great book.
Jack (so intense) and I cant quite figure him out,
When Evie takes off on her own to rescue Matthew and Jack follows her.
Surprise!! at how much I enjoyed the book and the audio.
Emma Galvin did a great job with all the characters both male and female. The story line is like a cross between "The Hunger Games" series and Jennifer Armentrouts "Lux" series. Both of those series were great by the way.
Yes. Why? Besides the fact that it is a well written contemporary romance, but the narrator was so good that I went looking for other audiobooks that she has done and was surprised to discover that this was her first and only one.
Even though I am not a fan of contemporary romance there was nothing about this audiobook that I did not like.
Ms. Costello did all voices perfectly both male and female and the Scottish accents were great. I was so impressed with her but could not find anything else by her. I m sure that will change. If only Ms. Costello had been the narrator for all the "Fifty Shades of Grey" books so many people would not have been so disappointed in the narration of them me included she would have been perfect.
Before listening to this book have your airline ticket to Edingurgh ready cause you will want to go.
THERE IS NOT ONE THING THAT I DID NOT LOVE ABOUT THIS BOOK. THE STORY, THE ROMANCE, THE ACTION, THE DIALOGUE EVERTHING. VERY WELL WRITTEN
I AM RELATIVELY NEW TO STEAMPUNK SO I HAVE NOTHING TO COMPARE IT TO.
I HAD LISTENED TO A LORRAINE HEATH BOOK NARRATED BY ADELE AND WAS SO IMPRESSED BY HER PERFORMANCE THAT FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME IN OVER 700 AUDIO BOOKS PURCHESED I WENT LOOKING FOR OTHER BOOKS BASED ON THE NARRATOR ALONE. SINCE SHE DOES NOT HAVE MANY I DECIDED TO GIVER THE IRON DUKE A TRY EVEN THOUGH I DID NOT THINK I WOULD LIKE IT. L. O. V. E. D IT AND HAVE PURCHESSED THE REST OF THE AUDIOBOOKS .
THIS BOOK COVERED ALL EMOTIONAL REACTIONS THE ROMANCE WAS GREAT
THIS BOOK WILL TURN YOU ON TO STEAMPUNK AS NO OTHER WILL. AT 63 I AM NOW INTO STEAMPUNK ALL DUE TO FAYE ADELE.
