James has initiated Bianca into a dark and drugging world of passion and pain. He taught her about her own submissive, masochistic nature, and she fell swiftly and deeply in love with the undeniably charming and impossibly beautiful Mr. Cavendish, but a painful misunderstanding and the return of the brutally violent demons of her past have combined to overwhelm Bianca, and, confused and hurt, she pushes him away.

I loved the first book in this series. I read that one and decided to get the audio for this one. This one had a ton of BDSM. Choking??? Way too much for me. I skipped through most of it. I didn't expect so much compared with the first book. He tells her to orgasm and she automatically does? That got old real quick. The narration was horrible. The voices sounded the same and I just couldn't buy into it. Maybe I would have enjoyed it more if I would've read it but I doubt it. I won't be finishing this trilogy.

Greyson King. My boyfriend. My friend. My protector. He's the reason I wake up every morning with a smile on my face, and the reason I fall asleep limp, worn out, and aching for his warm arms around me. When we make love, he says my name like it means something. Like I mean something. He lied. His name is Greyson King, but his alias is Zero. There's zero trace of him, he has zero past, and now I know that with him, I will have zero future.

    What disappointed you about Rogue?

I got 4 hrs into it and just couldn't take anymore. The female narration is horrible! All I imagine is someone standing there reading it to me. She talks fast and breathy, it's so annoying. I can't get in to the story at all. Very disappointed. I'm returning this and buying the book. I love Katy Evans but not this narration! I don't know why they didn't use the other ones from the previous 3 books.

For almost two years now, Kiera’s boyfriend, Denny, has been everything she’s ever wanted: loving, tender, and endlessly devoted to her. When they head off to a new city to start their lives together - Denny at his dream job and Kiera at a top-notch university - everything seems perfect. Then an unforeseen obligation forces the happy couple apart. Feeling lonely, confused, and in need of comfort, Kiera turns to an unexpected source - a local rock star named Kellan Kyle. At first, he’s purely a friend she can lean on, but as her loneliness grows, so does their relationship. And then one night everything changes....

Did Thoughtless inspire you to do anything?

It inspired me to roll my eyes at all the sobbing and blushing. It got old real quick.

    Any additional comments?

The narration was horrible at the beginning. It was flat, I just imagined someone reading me the book instead of the characters coming to life. Once she got going it was great.

I'm a sucker for rock star romances, this showed up on the $4.95 deal so I decided to pick it up. There was so much sobbing and blushing in this book, I wanted to scream! It got so annoying. Kellan has threesomes and I found it hard to believe that Kellan, Mr. hot rock star and man slut, would wait for Kiera to decide between him and Denny. Kiera scolds him for using the F*** word???!!! Seriously??? I felt really bad for Denny, I hope he gets his happy ending eventually.

I have to agree with some of the other reviews. There was quite a bit that could have been cut out of this book and it would have made it so much better. If it was the book instead of the audio I would have skimmed the pages, or skipped to the end to find out what happens. That being said, I love Griffin and Anna, they make me laugh. There was enough good in this book that I have already purchased the second one. We'll see if I make it to the third.

Young Danny Boyle, the part-time summer cop "down the shore" in Sea Haven, New Jersey, gets taken on a wild ride when he and his longtime beach buddies become the unwitting targets of a madman's twisted scheme for revenge. Fortunately, John Ceepak, the cop with a soldier's unshakable code of honor, stays at Danny's side to help him negotiate the quick twists and turns that threaten to destroy his life, his friends, and everything about the world he loves.

Narration was amazing as always. I love the different voices, Jeff Woodman makes you want to keep listening. This story wasn't as good as the first, wasn't as suspenseful or exciting. I found myself having to rewind because it didn't hold my attention. I will continue on with the series though. I love Danny and Ceepak and the narration alone is worth the listen.

There isn't much fun in the sun when a billionaire real estate tycoon is found murdered on the Tilt-a-Whirl at a seedy seaside amusement park in the otherwise quiet summer tourist town of Sea Haven. John Ceepak, a former MP just back from Iraq, has just joined the Sea Haven police department. The job offer came from an old Army buddy who hoped to give Ceepak at least a summer's worth of rest and relaxation to help him forget the horrors of war. Instead, Ceepak will head up the murder investigation.

What about Jeff Woodman’s performance did you like?

The narration was amazing. He did so many different voices and none of them seemed forced or fake. He made the characters seem so real and really brought you in to the story. It was fantastic!

    Any additional comments?

I love Robert Crais and the Elvis Cole and Joe Pike series. I've listened to all of them long ago. I've been looking for something new along those lines. This showed up in a "surprise, pick one for $4.95" and I'm glad I picked it.

I have to say I loved Danny and Ceepak. Danny is just a young kid who is a beach cop for something to do, while Ceepak is older than Danny and has picked up this job from an old army buddy, who just happens to be the Chief of Police. There are twists in this book that I didn't see coming. It is less intense than some mysteries/thrillers, but it is well written and I really enjoyed it. You see into Ceepak's history and learn why he is the way he is. He doesn't lie and never goes back on his word. The last hour of the book where everything comes together really gets at your heart, and makes you feel for the victim. It brought out some intense emotions in me.

I would defiantly recommend this. It seemed to start out a little slow and took me a few tries to continue it, but once I did I listened to the rest of it all the way through. I will be continuing on with the rest of the series. I can't wait to learn more about Danny and Ceepak.

What is up with the virgin girl who wants the bad boy who sleeps around and she’s even caught him doing it? She still wants him because he’s so hot and sexy. Of course when they finally do have sex, it’s the best sex he’s ever had, and wow, he’s never forgotten to use a condom before! This storyline is so old and boring. I agree with the other bad reviews given. No character dev., boring, tame sex scenes. The narrator was great in parts, other parts I felt like she was just reading from the book, no emotion. I could have gotten through this book much faster if I had read it and maybe even enjoyed it a bit more. I don’t even need to continue this series. Just reading the reviews for the next one tells you what happens next. Not impressive or original.

My favorite part of this book was the closure at the end of the book that it gave to Nell and Colton from Falling Into You. It made me sigh and I was so happy they got their HEA. I had to wait a while to listen to this book after the emotional wringer that Falling Into You put me through. I loved that book but wow!

We briefly met Jason and Becca in Falling Into You. This book gives so much to both characters. It isn't as emotional as the first book but there is a really gut wrenching part that brought tears to my eyes. You could really feel Becca's pain. The way it was written and narrated made it intense. I'm not a fan of "six months later" and "one year later", etc. There was a bit of it in this book, most of the time the author gave you a summary of what had happened during that time. I liked that much better so you didn't feel like part of the story was left out.

I did feel some ick factor when they had sex as a teenager. It is very descriptive, that doesn't usually bother me, it was just their age. It was well written, nothing the author did to make it bad, just bothered me a bit. Overall this is a great book and well worth the credit.

    SPOILER ALERT!
I wish we would have found out what happened with Ben's girlfriend Kate and the baby. She said she was going to keep it but we never heard anything after that.

With The Look of Love, best-selling author Bella Andre introduces you to a fun and emotional contemporary romance series about the Sullivan family. Because when a Sullivan bad boy falls... he falls hard. And it's forever. Chloe Peterson is having a bad night. A really bad night. The large bruise on her cheek can attest to that. And when her car skids off the side of a wet country road straight into a ditch, she's convinced even the gorgeous guy who rescues her must be too good to be true. Or is he?

Damsel in distress, hot guy helps her, she's been abused doesn't mind having a fling with this guy because he's "different". Best sex either one of the them have ever had, I've never felt this way before, yada, yada, yada.

This book reminds me more of a contemporary romance story written 10 years ago. There isn't anything original about this book but it is written well.

I wouldn't pay full price, I bought it as a deal of the day. If you're up for a lighthearted typical read with no surprises or realism, then this is the book for you.

What about Daniel May and Leslie Bellair ’s performance did you like?

The audio was really good, the only part I found annoying was the voices of Andrew's brothers. Luckily they weren't in it that much.

    Any additional comments?

I bought the Edge of Never in eBook format only. The further I got in to the book the more I kept thinking that I should have bought it on audio. It was so good that I decided to buy the Edge of Always on audio. Total letdown.

The Edge of Never pulled at your heartstrings and the relationship between Camryn and Andrew was intense. The sex scenes were so hot. I couldn't put it down. The Edge of Always didn't even come close to the emotion and hot scenes as the Edge of Never did.

I hate it when an author skips scenes in a book. They would be going to a bar, then the next line was they were leaving the bar. What happened while they were in the bar? To me, these scenes are important, it shows the interaction between the characters and builds up the relationship and the "hotness" of the book. They would be heading to the hotel to have sex, the next line is they are waking up. This happens quite a bit in this book. This did not happen at all in the Edge of Never. There were also parts of the book where it would be, "one month later", then eventually, "one year later". I want to know what happened during that time.

I felt there was a bunch of the storyline left out. It didn't even feel like the same author that wrote the Edge of Never. It seemed rushed about halfway through the book. Just hurry and throw in a few things so the author can be done writing it.

A book I thought would be as amazing as the first fell flat. Stick with the Edge of Never and don't bother with this one.

    SPOILER ALERT!

She has a miscarriage in the beginning of the book, then later in the book it cuts to a scene xx years later and she's giving birth. There is nothing in the book about her finding out she's pregnant the second time or about her pregnancy. I find this to be a huge storyline and important to the characters, especially considering the first pregnancy go round, to just be left out of the entire book.

The narration was great and the characters were so beautifully written you could feel their pain. I can't believe how much this story made me cry. My heart broke for Nell. You know the tragedy is coming so you just keep waiting for it, when it does happen you can't believe it. This book will put you through the wringer emotionally. Nell's pain and journey during/after Kyle dies is gut wrenching. I loved this book but I don't think I could listen to it again, it's so emotionally draining. I literally had tears streaming down my face. One tissue isn't enough. Make sure you have enough time to listen for a while, you won't want to stop. I think there needs to be a second book to finish up the loose ends.
